I’ve been a customer of Jose since 2001 and now consider him a great friend/hermano. His customer service is unlike any other in how he treats everyone with excitement to share his passion in serving excellent food and treating you like family. The menu is excellent and I highly suggest trying more than just your “usual” and you won’t be disappointed! We drive from Cheney for the food and of course Jose, my only complaint is that I wish they were closer so I could eat there all the time. The new expansion of the restaurant is a very nice improvement and having a bigger bar is nice since it’s always busy. Tonight we tried mezcal for the first time based off Jose’s recommendation and he made multiple drinks of different versions using mezcal to really show my wife and I what we had been missing. He also introduced us to Sal de gusano and when paired as a rim dusting for a mezcal drink it added another layer of a pallet explosion. He shared his knowledge he gained on mezcal from his recent trip to Wahaka Mexico. We ended up spending over 3 hours there talking with him and left with full stomachs and face hurting from smiling and laughing so much.

3 stars because my tacos didn’t include cucumber, not grill onions, not radishes, nothing, and they are essential for a good taco, simple things were not provided. Flavor was just ok I’m Mexican but the way.

Best Latin American food in Spokane! Tried for the first time and each person said their food was the best they have ever had. Appetizer of Patacones Rellenos was 10/10. Chimichanga 10/10. And enchiladas combo 10/10. The chips and salsa are so good! Fresh, hot, and great salsa. The service was amazing and fast. Definitely a must try! Will be a regular :)
