It was ok. I ordered no cheese and I got cheese. It seemed like a lot to pay for a so-so burger. It was a drive-thru transaction so didn't try for a new burger.

Had a homeless person approach me while I was waiting in the drive-thru. Thankfully the employee saw him and waved him away. Arrived at 10:20ish am and ordered a breakfast hamburger. It was very dry and messy, the tater tots were nice and hot and salty but the problem was they tasted like extremely old oil. The sprite tasted like carbonated water. The only reason I gave it any stars was because I was grateful for the employee who helped me with the order. He was very friendly and helpful.

34 min from the time we paid for food to when we received the order. Mind you there was NO ONE was placing orders or waiting on orders in the restaurant or in the drive through! At the 25 min mark we asked where our food was at and were told “it just came up” meaning the onion rings. 9 min later, when we got our food the onion rings were barely warm. Piss poor service and management!

We waited over 15 minutes for someone to come to the counter, there was a line forming, food took nearly 20 minutes to come out, then the chicken patty was tiny and overcooked on the original chicken sandwich the staff were arguing during our whole visit. Worse than I could have imagined

Worst Carl's restaurant I've ever been in. After I did my app order and drove to pick it up I was told the coffee machine was broken,this is the third time they've made an excuse for not having coffee. My biscuits and gravy were cold and served in a cardboard chicken strip box,not the normal container. No utensils in bag,no utensils in lobby had to wait for employee because she was outside smoking. It's no wonder it was empty when I walked in it smelled like an outhouse. All the other fast food restaurants on 3rd avenue were busy ,like normal. Not Carl's .This location and the employees are an embarrassment to Carl's jr
Follow up: I responded to the link Carl's provided in their response to this review, nothing happened. They said the location management would " reach out" didn't happen. Carl's obviously dosent care about customer service at all

Worst Carl's I've ever been in. Ordered on their app,still had to wait after I drove there. Was told " the coffee machine is broken" that's the 3rd time they've used that excuse at 8 AM,so no coffee. I went there tonight, they had 1 delivery driver waiting for over 10 minutes, a drive thru customer just left. No one says HI, while I'm waiting. I announced my presence after 5 minutes by calling out for their bathroom code, no one said anything back. I asked the delivery driver if they were smoked out. She laughed and suggested going to Atilanos next door. I thought, this IS a great idea. I went to Atilanos. I ate, used the bathroom and got a drink, I just really wanted something to drink. So Carl's at 3rd isn't trained to greet customers. They make food slowly at peak slow times in the 6:30 pm hour on a Saturday without acknowledging new customers waiting to order. Yes, I enjoy this... explaining silly factual observations.

The past few trips to the downtown location have been disappointing! Slow service for fast food, 35 to 45 minutes is ridiculous. Window guy seemed lost, couldn't hear me. The girl who made it food was slow as hell. Maybe if her nails weren't 3 inches long she'd be faster!!

It's pretty lame to not take orders and run down the clock until 10. There are other people who also work late too. Some of us have to work the Holidays or be on duty at all hours. Don't punish us just because you want to close up at 10. If there are cars in lines at 9:30 then they should be served. Leaving a line of cars out there and waiting until 10 to tell everyone you're now closed is low and dirty.
