Too often restaurants who experienced great times fall away and never return. I thought the Cathay Inn was one of those; wrong! To my great delight, they are back. The food is fresh and delicious and as good as it has ever been. The service is as good as the food. Return to them or go for the first time. It's wonderful and you won't regret it.
Got our food to go, they change containers to a cardboard material, by the time I got home all the juices had bleed through causing food to be dry, could barely get containers out of bag due to them wanting to collapse from being soaked, even the soup containers leaked while sitting on the table. Ruined the whole meal for us. If this was a money saving issue go back to the old containers.
I've been to about every Chinese restaurant in Spokane and this is by far my favorite. Meals are always consistant, taste good, fair price, etc. Service is good and there isnt a quick turn over in staff like a few other restaurants I've tried. Cant really go wrong with the food choices.
