Ordered on DoorDash today so can’t speak to the atmosphere or service, however, for $22, I would've expected a larger sandwich; one that's either enough for 2 or at least leftovers. Just moved from Miami so used to higher prices, but this is by far the highest price with smallest portion sandwich I've had. If I paid around $16-18 for a sandwich, it'll usually make two meals, there's meat falling out of the sandwich, no area of bread without meat, etc. It was good, but unfortunately not good enough to order again for the cost and portion size. The meat was also overcooked and because of that the whole sandwich just tasted dry and felt like it was missing something. With delivery and a cup of clam chowder I paid $32 for this. Was really looking forward to this place so bummed with the outcome!

Watched the cook.prepare the entire meal with no gloves. He made change from his wallet at the cash register, went back in the kitchen not washing hands but handled food. I called and said I was throwing our $45 meal in the garbage 🗑 Told them they gotta do better if they want to survive

Food was great! The heavy metal music and satanic art on the wall was a huge miss! Not somewhere i would bring my kids or parents despite the good food. If they cleaned up and fixed the atmosphere it would be a destination.

Are there enough good words to say about this place? I think not! Everything was SO on point! The turkey pesto sandwich is massive and fairly priced, and the flavors were too notch. Elote soup had a tinge of spice and hit every taste bud in the right place. The service was fantastic and the vibe was immaculate, we will certainly be back next time we are in town!

I was looking for somewhere to have lunch after work and decided to finally try Chowderhead. Walking in, Black Sabbath is playing which made me smile and immediately feel comfortable. I went there specifically to try the Kimchi fried chicken sandwich, I ordered that and a can of cider, it came with the choice of fries, tots, salad, or soup. I went with the clam chowder because chowder is in the name of the place. Service was very prompt and welcoming and the atmosphere was very relaxed with everyone having a good time and enjoying the food. The food came quickly and everything looked delicious. The chowder was absolutely perfect, with pieces of bacon, large chunks of potato and a handful of crackers on top. The chicken sandwich was absolutely amazing as well. The Kimchi sauce, and jalapeños gave it a very unique and flavorful kick. There's not another chicken sandwich like it in Spokane and I've tried them all. The only downside was the check. $30 plus a tip, it ended up being basically $40. This will have to be a rare treat because $40 for lunch to me is crazy.
