We had never been to Chowderheads, and decided to go for lunch. This place is great! Friendly service, and absolutely amazing food. I got the cheesesteak while my wife got a cup of clam chowder and some avocado toast. The cheesesteak was really good and the fries it came with were also VERY nice. Well, i just gave a 5 star review, which i normally don’t hand out routinely because nothing is perfect. Nonetheless, i will share some opportunities to consider.

Atmosphere is sort of retro, funky bohemian style. Pretty much unchanged since the ruins days. I like it, but it might not be everyone’s cup of tea.

Like most small restaurants, Chowderhead is very welcoming from the minute you walk in. The Clam Chowder reminds me of the chowder I ate as a child. If you haven't visited, you are missing a great experience
