My wife and I went there for brunch, the food wasn't good at all. My wifes omelet was tiny, compared to Ihop, her french toast was burnt and soggy. I needed magnifying glasses to see the toppings on my Nachos. We spoke to the manager, when paying, and he said we should have complained at the table about the french toast and they would have remade it. Wife didn't want to as she just thought they would make it wrong again. I don't recommend this place we will start going to Ihop.

We went to Denny's on Argonne in Spokane valley. We got right in with the best server, Daniela. She had the best attitude, always friendly, very quick and fun.

2nd visit,: place ess completely empty cook and waitress were smoking and talking it up at entrance door before we entered. Everything still pointed to s drab experience half enthused albeit everyone there it was timely brought out still tasted like a TV dinner that got overcooked.. can't wait to visit again.. my guess is place is corporate ran cause the way the staff walked all over the place it was obvious there was no true restraint or control over any of these parameters.

The Most Disrespectful, Unhinged, Disgusting Service I’ve Ever Experienced (12/6/25 @ 11:50 PM)
I don’t even know where to begin with the absolute circus that happened at this Denny’s. Our group was paying our separate checks, and the first person left a smaller tip because he’s having financial issues right now. What happened next was something you’d expect in a reality show meltdown, not a restaurant.
Our waitress instantly started loudly ranting to herself—on purpose, right in front of us—saying things like “On a $200 check there isn’t a single tip?” and “I gave great service.” Not only was that untrue (she was rude, sarcastic, and snappy the entire night), but she made sure her little performance was heard by EVERYONE.
Then it escalated.
Her coworker walked over, and the two of them started full-on talking trash about us while we were literally standing a few feet away. Not whispering. Not subtle. Just openly insulting us as customers as if we weren’t even there. Calling us “shitty people” and acting like we were somehow villains for not tipping instantly.
And then our waitress started yelling at us—yes, yelling—about how she “has to pay tax” when customers don’t tip. A CUSTOMER even joined in backing her up, making the entire situation feel hostile and borderline surreal. Imagine paying your bill and having employees, plus a random stranger, gang up on you because one person tipped less.
At that point, the rest of us decided NOT to tip at all—not out of spite, but because after being screamed at and publicly trashed, we honestly felt we deserved our money back. No one should have to pay extra for an experience that was this aggressively disrespectful.
The funniest part? One of our friends, who is a genuinely kind and forgiving person, still tipped her a large amount. And if the waitress hadn’t exploded on the FIRST person, every single one of us would’ve tipped 20% like we ALWAYS do.
Instead, we got one of the most unprofessional, embarrassing, and disrespectful displays of behavior I have ever seen from restaurant staff. The fact that they were comfortable acting like this in front of customers is honestly alarming.
If management doesn’t address this, then they’re openly approving this kind of hostile, trash-talking, customer-yelling environment. Absolutely disgusting.
