Just wasn't good, first time I've been in there for a year and my last. The biscuits are no longer cake like and I don't remember the gravy being bad. These were the second worst biscuits and gravy I've ever had and I love my gas station grub. They just reminded me of S.O.S. my dad made when I was young but even that tasted better. To top it off the eggs were cold and the hash browns were luke warm and soggy. I just can't get over the BnG though.... So disappointing

Okay, so it was my first time here and regardless of my rating, the service was good. The servers were sweet and nice. But the only disappointment was the food! Extremely late to get the food. We waited around 20 mins just to get two sandwiches which were almost cold and very small in quantity compared to the price. 17$ for a melt which tasted nothing more than cardboard with cheese that wasn't even stretching.3$ extra for sweet potato fries whose quantity was less that 1 potato in my opinion. And 16$ for a CBLTA that had bacon as hard as a wood. The chicken was so dry in the sandwich that biting on that needed courage.Really disappointed on the food. The only thing that was worth it was 3.5$ egg omelette. Expectations were not high but high yet did not sayisfy compared to the price. Not recommended for now.

UPDATE - First visit since it was reopened. This use to be our favorite breakfast, now we will not be back. The service is still friendly and fast, however the food is not fresh or delicious. Eggs over well, hashbrowns burnt, so crispy you can’t even pick them up with a fork. The biscuits are flat and limp. The chicken fried steak was disgusting, super greasy, it folded in half! The gravy taste like mayonnaise. Look at the photos of the reopening food vs the photos prior to closing, you can see the difference. Great service, horrible food!No longer Delicious and fresh, still great service.

My go-to is a chicken fried steak. I feel as though even a mediocre one is great. That being said..... this place might have the best country fried steak I've had in a dang long time. The batter is slightly sweetened, the country gravy is rich and luxurious, the sausage in it is chunky and perfect. I always add extra black pepper and a vinegar based hot sauce...(think tabasco) but they had a variety of hot sauces to choose from. Some locally sourced so we tried multiple. Man oh man it was absolutely amazing. My boyfriend got the country benedict and he raved about it as well. There's something special about unaasuming hometown diners, and this place has got to be in my top 5 ever. We will absolutely be back. If you still need more coaxing.. just go try it. Do it!

I was very excited to try this place out ,as it was closed for a long time. There were several things that earned this restaurant a one star review. To begin with, it seemed as though the restaurant was attempting to save money at every turn. First, no sugar, then no creamer....then, no napkins. The chocolate chips in their pancakes were the tiniest chocolate chips that you've ever seen in a pancake ever. It was honestly just strange. . The food was cold, and flavorless . Getting coffee was a challenge even when we wanted a refill-it was a total pain for the waitress. And then there were all the plates that were left on top of the table,as though jenga was the game a mom of two wanted to play first thing in the morning. There were literally two other guests in the whole establishment. It was more than just cold food and bad service ....it was attitude when the waitress realized that we knew what was going on. Avoid this place .There are plenty other great restaurants serving breakfast in Spokane where you will have a far better experience. Not the same restaurant that I remember.

I had to edit my review as the new owners are not living up to what Dollys was. The rating they have is based on previous owners, not the current ones.Took my girlfriend there this past week, excited as it had been some time. Dollys of old was a phenomenal eatery,, wow, is it disappointing nowThe coffee tasted like the smell of old cardboardThe hollandaise sauce for my girlfriends breakfast was out of a can and tasted really oddI got the chicken fried steak. It turned out to be hamburger with a gravy that wasn't quite right. I had ordered home fries and got hash browns instead. I didn't ask for them to be replaced, they're potatoes, right? Weird metallic taste, nit sure what oil they're using, but they should stop using it.Overall, a huge disappointment as we all used to enjoy going there, even though it was always full. I should have realized something was up as the place wasn't even half full.We won't be back unless they really up their game. This was my review a few years ago:Great food, huge plates, good service. Bring an appetite, its going to get tested. It's not a big place and it closes at 2pm everyday. For a very solid breakfast or lunch....if you're wanting a nap aka food coma... you're missing out if you haven't visited.

Philly cheessteak was horrible. Gas station sandwiches have more meat and flavor. The house fries was the only saving grace. For twenty dollars, you'd expect a quality sandwich.I rarely post reviews, but this place needs one. I cannot recommend that sandwich to my worst enemy. It would be a war crime.
