The ice-cream is great but I always get pints and they never pack them down at all. It's so light because so much air is in it. Every ice-cream shop I have been to packs down the ice-cream when getting pints or quarts. Also they do not have quarts available. I'm thinking it's a price thing because a pints here cost more than a quart from Baskin robins.

Lovely place, like a soda fountain from the 50's. The butter brickle was truly amazing as were the four other samples I tried (even the candy corn). The guy behind the counter was so nice and friendly. Just passing through, but it will become a stop every time we are in Spokane.

Share my experience… okay google, Doyle’s ice cream is so good it makes me want to cry. It’s better than the small batch ice cream uncle Jeff makes. We went there last night and had apple fritter ice cream in a fresh waffle cone, my eyes get misty just thinking about it. Strawberry, cookies-n-cream and banana are my go to flavors but it’s all good. We normally walk around the neighborhood with our cones or go down to the river. The vintage toy collection inside really brings the vibe home for this classic Spokane business.

About as old school as it gets. No frills, no seating, limited flavors, but what they do they do well. Really creamy, fresh ice cream and house made waffle cones you smell when you walk in. I had the caramel apple which was unique tasting with a great sour apple flavor. Very unique and great flavor. Interesting as it's in a very residential area, it just pops up on the corner, but worth the trip.
