We got 4 tacos. Chile ranos plate and 1 rum and pineapple drink it was almost 50.00 for 2 people. The server was very rude and didnt listen to anything we asked so half the food we couldnt eat.

The tacos here are usually really delicious and flavorful, and the margs are great. It’s a tiny place, which adds to the cool vibe but also makes it feel very crowded and loud. I recently had a super negative service experience here. The server felt like a mean girl from my high school. Every time we asked for another drink or to order food it was met with a weird look or a judgmental comment. We were made to feel unwelcome and in the way. It was truly a bizarre experience! It’s a shame that their tacos are good, because it’s just not worth going back if I’m going to be treated like dirt.

My WORST experience is Spokane thus far. My wife and I decided to drop in on a Friday night since we were close and had never been. We show up around 7:30 or so and the place is full as you'd expect. Mind you, this place is VERY small but it has a cool vibe, low lighting, some interesting decor, we're diggin it. We get sat in the back and immediately you could tell the gal who sat us was hammered drunk but hey, she was really nice and doing her job so who cares? Then our server comes over and gives us this look like we're the most disgusting thing she's seen all day. At first we're like hey, ya know what, people have bad days, whatever, as long as the foods good. Now I've eaten in a lot of different places and it's pretty common for folks from different cultures outside the US to not be overly nice. It's often just straight to the point and that's awesome. This was not that. The whole time she was taking our order she was incredibly rude. I asked a few questions about the menu like one does when they've never been somewhere and she gave short, cut responses that were entirely unhelpful all the while she is looking at me like I am a colossal moron. My wife orders 3 tacos and our server gets the order wrong twice while being thoroughly annoyed when we try to politely correct the order before its put in. It's 3 tacos not heart surgery? She STILL gets the order wrong a 3rd time and I'm thinking, is she tipsy too, what's going on here? My wife orders a drink too, it never comes. We ask again, it never comes. At this point we're like, okay we're just gonna go. I go to pay for my 8$ mediocre mocktail and this server has the audacity to look surprised that we're leaving. Looking at all the one star reviews it looks like this server is consistently unprofessional, rude, and ruins what people would otherwise rate as a pretty cool spot. It's a shame how one person can ruin an experience over and over again. I get that people have bad days and life is rough but this is not a one off. This server should maybe think about another line of work so people can enjoy their experience at El Que and she can go find something she doesn't despise.

Never in my life have I ever been treated so rudely by a server in my life. Was I at the DMV or a restaurant? The waitress rolled her eyes at me, forgot my drink order twice, messed up our food order (which I gave up on correcting at that point). We ended up leaving before getting our food (or my drink that never came), because it was so bad! I’ll never be back. It almost seemed like both waitresses were drinking as well, they were slurring their words and forgetting everything.

I’ve loved coming here in the past and bringing friends from out of town here - their tacos are delish and they have great drink deals throughout the week. I was super disappointed at my most recent visit because we had such a negative service experience with our waiter, Ingelese. Before I even got to El Que, my friend texted “the server seems pissed.” When I arrived I immediately felt the same way - right off the bat she was short, rude, and giving judgmental looks to our table. I warned the next couple of friends when they walked in to figure out what they wanted quickly to minimize Ingelese’s obvious dislike of us.
I hope I never have to see Ingelese at El Que again! It really put a damper on what was supposed to be a fun night of dinner/drinks with my friends! I also want to add that I rarely leave reviews and am gen z and usually bad service doesn’t faze me but Ingelese was so incredibly rude and negative that it compelled me to write this! Be warned.

Real nice little bar. Sat outside cause even though the place wasn’t full it was so loud it was hard to hear my own thoughts. Ordered the best jalapeno cocktail I’ve had in a while. Went there with intentions of getting a bite to eat but were told it would be an hour before we saw our tacos. It don’t take that long to make a taco! The place was not even full so I’m sure the cook was not flooded with orders. Maybe their one hot plate wasn’t working that day. So finished off my drink and walked next door and got what I wanted. The service was ok, I mean I only got one drink and was out of there in about ten minutes so the waitress didn’t have to tend to me a whole lot. Might go back another time and try their tacos.
