I placed an order this last Sunday. We had the food delivered. We did not receive our fries with the order. The chicken was cooked just fine but had no seasoning. The Gravy on the mash potatoes was not great. It wasn't even a liquid. More of just a solid brown crust on top of the mash potatoes. Probably wont go again because the only high light was the baked beans. Which tasted really good, but I didn't order from here for baked beans. I wanted some good fried chicken.

1+ hour wait. Severely understaffed store. Poor customer service. It’s ultimately not the fault of the staff that did show up to work. I have been here 3 times and it’s the same every time - slow and poor service. To their credit, the food is good.

I used to love Ezell’s but the store is not well run anymore. Most orders take forever, and even the quality of the chicken is poor now…way overly breaded and greasy. The odd sized cuts make it nearly impossible to enjoy.

I have been a patron of ezell's for many many years in Seattle and this was my first time having a bad experience. It is rare that I have the desire to take the time to complain. Anyway, I was on a road trip that took me through Spokane, and despite better judgement I decided going so far away from the freeway for Ezell's would be worth it. I knew it was a bit last minute but that I could make it in time to make an online order for 7:45 pm (which was an available option). I arrived at 7:50 to find the doors locked and someone cleaning up inside ignoring me (as someone who has worked customer service I understand this behavior AFTER closing time which was posted as 8pm). I was very hungry and extremely disappointed to say the leaat. I decided to try to forget the experience except that recently I found out by looking through my bank statement that they had the audacity still take my money. So customers be warned, they might break their promise of open hours and food if you order online, without any explanation and will still charge you. So much disappointment.

We have been using Ezell’s for takeout for years now. Tonight we decided to order takeout from them again, only to find that our box of original chicken was swimming in oil when we opened it. The bottom of the box was falling apart and the breading on the chicken had mostly fallen off. It was pretty obvious that the chicken was put in fresh out of the fryer and not drained (or at least not drained enough). We thought no problem, these things happen. My husband drove back to ask for a replacement for this item. Not only would they not replace it but they would not refund the item. Unfortunately I didn’t get a picture before the item was tossed but it was definitely not something anyone would want to eat. Really disappointing!

Horrible experience and disgusting food! I ordered 1/2lb of chicken tenders with a side and got only 3 tenders. The roll was burnt and the man n cheese tasted like it was 3 days old - dry and cold. Husband ordered a pound of liver and a pound of gizards. We waited an eternity for the liver and never got the gizards. When asked where the gizards were, we were told we didn't pay for them. The chick took our order but never charged us for it. We weren't gonna wait another eternity for the gizards. They packed our chicken and rolls while waiting on the liver. By the time they cooked the liver, everything was ice cold!! Don't pack the food while the rest of it is cooking. Use common sense... when we opened the box of liver, the smell... burnt like charcoal! I would have returned it all if I was closer. Never going to this location again! Ruined all of ezelles for us for a while. Thanks for nothing!

I ordered a 4 piece dinner and received 2 legs and 2 wings, this is not a 4 piece dinner. Chicken was dried out and cold, well 3 pieces were so I guess I received one piece of fresh chicken. My French fries were cold and looked like they had been warned up in a microwave, just limp and cold. I called and spoke with a manager that acknowledged that I should have received the standard 4 piece (breast, thigh, wing, leg) and offered to correct it but after going back and forth with door dash to get a driver to return I ended up getting screwed out of my food and money because door dash took too long and never sent anyone back. I got screwed out of 30 dollars for a 4 piece. Wish I could leave zero stars.

cool little place, service was great. food was okay, I would go back for the buffalo chicken strips but not for anything else. Rolls were very good, mashed potatoes and gravy were not.
I’ve eaten here 2 times and each time I kinda question why I came back. Chicken was very dry and the sides were pretty blah. A friend of mine raved about it when it opened, so the first time I went and it was average at best, I thought maybe it was just an off night or something. The second time was the same thing, so I get the impression it’s just how it always is. I’ve definitely had worse, but there’s a lot better options out there too.
