Omg. Amazing. I had the Irish Benedict. I eat a Rueben almost everywhere and this was the best corned beef I've ever had. Our waitress was amazing. Good that fed the stomach and the soul. A great dining experience.

Delicious food. The bacon was nice and crispy and our waitress was really helpful and welcoming. It is also a nice experience to get to eat inside. It is definitely different but very beautiful and unique.

What a neat place. Our waitress has been there for 26 years! She was amazing. Food came out fast and tasted great. The train history and theme makes you feel like you stepped back to an easier time in America. Had the meatloaf Benedict and it was delicious ?

I enjoy franks diner a lot, but felt the need to mention this for others…About a week ago I placed takeout & ordered a hot turkey sandwich (half sandwich) and was very satisfied so, I decided to go back a few days ago and order a full sandwich since it was only a few dollars more. When I arrived back home and opened up the meal, I was surprised to see that the only difference from a half to a full sandwich order is that they give you a extra piece of bread. No extra turkey. My partner and I agreed that they even gave me more turkey for my half sandwich order.

Awesome staff!Clean execution of decor and styleVERY cool locationFood was 10/10 for what it was.One of the best diners I've honestly ever been to. It's a must go to if you're even on the fence.

Fun atmosphere, fun menu and a really fun server. But, the chicken n waffle I ordered was a big disappointment. Burnt and so tough you could barely cut it w a steak knife and the waffle was cold. I will definitely go back but I will steer clear of the ? n ?

My wife and I stopped in for some lunch during a quick day trip around 12, prepared to have to wait. we were able to get seated immediately! service was quick, courteous, and attentive. being from out of town, we've never dined here before so choosing something was difficult. I decided on the breakfast burger with potato salad, my wife got the boar bacon club. dining in a train car was interesting and the decor was fun to look at. definitely recommend stopping in!

Franks is a good spot in town especially if you want to support something local. We love their crispy deviled eggs and home made biscuits, otherwise there hasn't been much that stood out. The food is good though and our kids love this place as my little one is a train lover so we pass the wait times by standing by the tracks watching the trains go by. We love the service and everyone we have encountered working here has been nothing but awesome. Definitely a fun place to take the kids. Beware of the wait times though. Usually it's faster than what they quote you at.

While appreciative of Spokane's many great restaurants - including the 'gourmet' ones which we also frequent, there is no place that matches Frank's Downtown Diner for true Soul Food - just like you remember Mom or Grandma's but even Better ! Having eaten at Frank's 1-2 a month for at least 30 years we can attest to the ambience (the wood is beautiful),cleanliness, professional and friendly wait staff and, the presentation of whatever you choose. Portions are large and brimming with deliciousness. Whether Breakfast, Lunch or Dinner you'll leave full and happy. Popping in 20 minutes before closing one night, we sat in the comfortable counter chairs and had the usual scrumptious food prepared in front of us but had the pleasure of seeing the cooks clean the grills squeeky Clean !

We went here based off of reviews and let me say I’m glad we did. The staff was super friendly, food was amazing and the dining car is absolutely beautiful. This place is a must stop in when you’re in the area.
