The drinks were incredible and the environment was relaxing. The service was great and everyone was friendly. The food tasted really, really delicious however we were still hungry and after spending over $100 had to go out to dinner a second time. Other than that if you want to spend a lot of money on a dinner that is the size of an appetizer and still be hungry, I recommend!

Came here for dinner while we were visiting Spokane and did their marathon tasting menu- so much fun! Got to try all kinds of creative preparations. You could tell that they put a lot of effort into every bite. Would come back again if in the area.
Also the art they have up is hilarious š

Anniversary dinner for my wife and I. Fantastic Service, best food at a restaurant we've had in a long time (layers of flavors). Wine pairings were on point as well. Will definitely be back.

Not the best experience. Service was poor. It took forever to get anything to the table considering the restaurant wasnāt very full of guests. The food was not very appealing, small portions, especially for the price.

I had been wanting to try Gander and Ryegrass for so long, and my experience was really disappointing. I am bummed. The server was completely robotic and didnt show an ounce of personality or even smile the whole time. It was so weird. I ordered some burrata and tomatoes with brioche. The burrata itself was really good, but it came with 2 tiny cherry tomatoes cut in half and 4 tiny thin little crackers that were too brittle to even put the burrata on. My daughter mentioned it when she came back, and she offered to bring us some more of the cracker things, but acted really annoyed and passive aggressive about it. She never brought me my drink. The food was just OK, which was really sad because ive heard amazing things about it. The pea salad was actually really good. Then she robotically asked us about dessert and told us the special for dessert. My daughter asked for the dessert menu instead, and she once again acted put out and annoyed. When we ordered the one we wanted to share, she informed us they were out. Probably could have given us a heads up when she brought us the menu. We left pretty disappointed with the whole experience.

We went and did the chefs marathon for my husbands birthday dinner. It was out of this world! I thought it was better than candle in the woods. They were able to make us mocktails with faux spirits that were creative and tasty. The staff was friendly and I love the atmosphere. The only thing I would say that should be noted just for future reference is I thought the dinner was going to take 2.25 hours and it took 3.25 hours. Honestly with how much food we ate we probably needed the extra hour to fit it all in because we were stuffed lol but we had to alter our after dinner plans due to the length of the meal but it was 100% worth it and you should run not walk to go devour the deliciousness. Their āgluten queenā as they called her made the best bread weāve ever had and their pasta was š„ I already want to go back and I left 3 hours ago and Iām still full lol

Gander and Ryegrass is perhaps Spokaneās best restaurant. My husband and I have been ~10 times since moving here and have had incredible food, service, and ambiance every single time.

Restaurantji Recommends
Truly delicious and satisfying.
This will be my go-to spot from now on.
Multi course dinner experience was delightful. Very interesting combinations of flavors. A full evening entertainment, especially if one adds the sommelier pairings. Excellent service,
Very solid restraunt for a quick lunch, friendly staff and the food is exceptional, noted its a bit pricey for what you get but if you want a treat this is a little gem in Spokane
This restaurant was amazing! We came from Seattle to try the food and it did not disappoint. Everything was so fresh and so well balanced. The pork tenderloin was cooked perfectly was a really tasty mustard pistachio crust. It was the best pork tenderloin Iāve ever had. Also the pea salad was outstanding and had a really nice char and I loved the mint. Also they have amaro flights which is brilliant and the somm was very knowledgeable and helpful and gave us some great recommendations to try. I highly recommend coming here and trying everything. We canāt wait to come back!
