So, I walked in with a friend on a Friday night. The live music was so loud in the bar it made it difficult to visit with my friend. The hostess set us as far as possible from the bar but still was quite loud. Gina, our waitress, suggested sitting out on the patio. It was perfect weather and was not crowded.Gina was exceptional in her duties and went beyond my normal experience of waitresses. My friend and I had discussed at the beginning of our evening of not coming again, but because of Gina and the food, we will be coming back. Please turn down the live music a bit.

Its the old Prospectors restaurant. The inside is still the old Prospectors restaurant. No updates. Food is only so so. I have gone 5 times, I havent eaten a single thing memorable. Doubt I will go back for food. Live music is the only real highlight. Other than that it is like a really big dive bar. As if we dont have enough of those already.

Took my family there, and we were disappointed. The food was terrible. We never complained about the food, but the waitress picked up on our dissatisfaction. She gave us a story about only having one cook and he is doing his best. When we refused her offer for boxes for the leftovers, the waitress gave us a talking to about wasting food. We were polite to her and still left a 20% tip. But we will not return.

Pretty good food, the prime rib fries were good but VERY salty. There was great live music from Hammer and the Rusty Nails which was awesome, definitely would go back to see them again!

Soo I NEVER Post negative reviews and honestly was super excited to try Hammer’s bar and grill where the old prospectors used to be! Went to take my dad for an early Father’s Day as tomorrow’s going to be crazy and he has dementia! The waitress and manager were super helpful, however the person who cooked our food obviously didn’t either know or care what he was doing! Cold food and meatloaf sandwich that looked like it was slapped on with a slice of Kraft cheese! The fries were hot though! The owner came over and made everything right! Which was nice! I don’t recommend coming here on Saturday for lunch if that cook is present!

We were customers of the previous restaurant in the building (Prospectors). We were not impressed with the menu of the new operation (much smaller, less options). The building with prospecting decor including wood carvings doesn't match the current simple hamburgers and pizza operation. I got the same vibe as with Prospectors close to the end. We walked in and found already people trying to check in (you have to wait to be seated) and wandering into the restaurant looking for the hostess. I got the feeling that the may not last long (not many customers for such big facility). If you want to give them a try, I'd recommend going soon.

My wife and I almost didn't try this restaurant because of all the negative reviews. Typically, you'll see owners respond to negative reviews, but I hadn't seen anything... So we were not sure about trying it. However, we went and I'm glad we did. The food was good, the atmosphere was great, and the service was friendly. In fact, we ordered a dessert that ended up not being available anymore, so the chef created something else for the same price, that was really tasty and big enough we had left overs to take home. I'll go back again to try their brick oven pizza and salad bar since I ordered chicken fried steak, and my wife ordered steak and a potato, this time.

Definitely won't be back, the first time we came our sandwiches took a long time (30+mins) to get to us and when we did get them they were not worth the wait. Gave them a second chance, this time we tried the chicken spinach artichoke pizza and it was just very bland dough caked in spinach artichoke dip that was curdled from being reheated, with what tasted like 3 day old rubbery, over cooked chicken

Came in here with my wife and 2 sons and my mom for mother's day. We were asked if we had reservations, we did not. Party of 5. They didnt look very busy at the time. Apprx 2pm in the afternoon. Asked if we could sit in the bar as there were plenty empty tables. They seated us. That was it, no menus, no water, not even a look from a waitress or bartender. We sat there for 15 minutes and nothing. We got up and left. Not a word from anyone as we walked out .Very disappointed. This place is near our house and opened just a few months ago and I have been wanting to try it out. Wont be coming back. Poor, poor service, at least for us. You have 1 shot at a first impression. Not even an acknowledgment, like if we were invisible. Would have liked to review the food, but by the sounds of other reviews, kinda glad we didnt. We went up the street to the Onion. Not our first choice, but the service was great and the food and beers were very tasty.

The food was disgusting. The waitress checked on us 1 time, other than to take our order, and bring us our food. The spinach artichoke dip was curdled and tasteless. The pizza crust had zero seasoning, and the crust was like eating rock hard flour water. The chicken was bland and so dry that I assume it had been cooked three times prior to being served. All of our food was returned to the kitchen, and we paid our check.

Ordered a French dip/Philly sandwich/fries and pizza. The sandwich was overly salty, fries undercooked and the pizza was mediocre. Food came out slow and we were one of a few guests in the restaurant around 1:30pm. Would not go back, nor recommend.

Paid $14 for the lunch special - half meatloaf sandwich and one salad bar trip for lunch. The salad bar was small and lame. No bacon, no hard boiled eggs, just sad old lettuce and terrible thousand island dressing. The 1/2 meatloaf sandwich was a joke. One piece of bread toasted and cut in half with a small, thin little piece of (supposedly?) meatloaf in the middle with a half piece of cheddar cheese. I’m pretty sure the meat was one of those frozen Salisbury steak patties from a tv dinner back you ate when you were a kid. Served on a small little salad plate. Everyone thought I ordered off the kids’ menu. At least it made for a funny joke for all my friends!Service was so slow. Food was terrible. High price for a terrible lunch. Great group of guys though, happy Birthday Spencer!

Wonderful new management! The customer service is awesome but there is lot of new people training. They are always really busy so our food has taken over an hour to come out but the atmosphere & music is great so we don’t mind waiting. The food is delicious and they have so many great options.

This place is great!! I am extremely picky as cooking is one of my favorite things to do and without a doubt I will call out any food that is not good or have any flavor. We started with the spinach artichoke dip and got the big tomahawk steak and everything was on point flavor meat cooked perfectly, sides drinks and service were great. We will be returning.

Kid-friendliness: Family restaurant with lounge. All cool
