My husband and I were very excited to try the highly spoken of vegan burger and the Philly cheese steak. The restaurant was completely empty, so we got amazing service. Being from Seattle we found the prices to be very reasonable. However, the food wasn't anything to write home about. It wasn't bad, I enjoyed my Philly, but my husband described his vegan burger as bland. We both agree that for the price it was a good meal, but we had hoped for more.
Great food. Good service. Quiet surroundings.
Great food, better music
Food took a while to arrive but was good. We had a Rueben and Gumbo. I think there was only one waiter for the 7 or 8 tables that were occupied.
Our company party was FABULOUS! The staff made sure we were we'll taken care of and had every last thing we needed.
The restaurant was empty when I got there - after 7 on a cold and rainy Tuesday, so no real surprises. I got a cup of their curry lentil soup, which was very tasty. For my main, I got the cheesesteak, fully loaded. The sandwich was phenomenal. Even with everything loaded on it, I could still taste everything. 10/10 would recommend.
It was a great place on the corner. Wonderful, cute place. Food was pretty darn good and were a decent size. Service was great. Pleasant surprise. Worth a stop if you are in Spokane for the night it at a conference. It is within walking distance of the convention and major hotels. Very convenient location in downtown.
Little outdated but clean. Food presentation is nice but pretty bland. Good thing is you get to season the food to your taste. Staff is very nice and friendly.
One of my favorite places to go for the last 20 years. Love these guys, love the food, the drinks, the atmosphere, the private party room events, the service and the music. Highly recommend for out of town visitors as the location is close to the hotels, park, and shops.
One of the best kept secrets downtown. The food and drinks are good and it's never crowded. These service is consistently decent. The decor may seem a little dated, like from when your parents were your age, but don't let that sway you. Hills' is a gem.

The service was great and the food was phenomenal. I had the pulled pork and my husband had the burger and added BBQ sauce. Highly recommend both!
Great drinks and personal service by Steve. Thank you for a great evening.
Great food, excellent service, nice atmosphere. I had the elk burger. Wonderful. Topped it off with Habanero ice cream. Very good.
Looks like a run down hole in the wall but wow was I impressed. Great menu, amazing plating. Good service, top quality food. I want to go back and see this rooftop garden they say have. I wonder if there's seating up there.
Good food, good drinks, good variety, good atmosphere! Great place to go before a show (let them know if you have a time constraint). Nice selection of steaks, seafood, chicken, veggies, and vegetarian options... Something for all the picky eaters in my groups.
