I've lived blocks away for years. The food is good, the coffee is good, the service is a little worse than a poorly managed tacobell. Slow, don't listen to the order, and don't care. There is a big bar in the cafe, for the register and picking up orders, that wraps around the whole kitchen area and it seems to separate the baristas from humanity. It's not that everyone that works there is bad or rude, it's that they're indifferent. It's got a real clicky highschool vibe, like you're just not cool enough for the cool kids. But the coffee is okay, so.

Whenever I’m in Spokane I love going for a run along Riverfront Park followed by a coffee and toast at Indaba. Great coffee, friendly staff, and convenient locations.Vegetarian options: Sun butter and banana toast.

These guys know how to make an excellent latte let me tell you! My boyfriend and I find any excuse to go here on the weekends together because we are obsessed. The house latte is so delish every single time and the baristas are quick, friendly and know what they are doing. The atmosphere is so relaxing and chill as well.

Worst experience ever, will not be back. 4:30 pm on Saturday afternoon, three customers in line to order ahead of me, one barista visible. I was able to order quickly enough, and then waited 20 minutes for one latte to go. Another barista arrived shortly after I ordered, and it STILL took all that time. The workers were not very busy, but super slow and chatty. They did not appear able to say hello to a new customer and froth milk at the same time. One barista spent about 20 minutes making two pour-overs. Just. watching. it. drip. Painful.Good tasting drink, but it cooled while they talked.

What a Washington Coffee Shop should be. The owner and staff were great and the right amount of chatty. They gave me clues to find Bigfoot (Bruce as he likes to be called) and things to do in the area. The Bigfoot blend is excellent too! I'll be back the next time I'm in Spokane!

Worst coffee ever. Way too bitter and like sludge. Walked out without even asking for a refund because the snooty vibe from the barista kinda deterred that. Only reason to come here is as a meeting place which this place gets right. Place is freezing too.

Cute cafe with plenty of seating, including couches, for people to work on computers, sit and talk, etc. Have bathrooms inside you can use with a code. I got the butterscotch latte which a friend of mine suggested as it's their favorite drink. I do not think I should have gotten it iced as the syrups didn't mix super well. Overall good experience, I'd come back! They also sell bags of coffee and other snacks / food.Wheelchair accessibility: My friend who is a wheelchair user had little issues in here, I did have to open the two sets of doors as they are not automatic which could be an issue if you come alone. But otherwise it was accessible.

This makes me so sad to write. The last few times I’ve visited the riverside location I’ve been disappointed. I used to count on Indaba to never let me down. I used to work in specialty coffee and completely understand an off day or a huge rush. Unfortunately the last few times I’ve been here I’m not greeted, my coffee doesn’t taste good and I’m always leaving feeling like I walked into someone’s house without permission or something…. It’s wild. I also hardly leave reviews and feel embarrassed doing this but ehhhh it’s a bummer I guess.
