First time at an iron skillet…Terrible food, I will make sure to remind everyone I bump into at the truck stop to avoid this place…tried the chicken teriyaki I took a spoonful and instantly regretted it. I should’ve trusted my gut and left when they asked me to pay for my food up front lol but I didn’t. I then realized they wanted to secure the payment because they are aware of the terrible quality of the food. There’s a Taqueria comalito Across the street from iron skillet and the food there was so good for 2/3 of the price… Genuinely, how is this location still operating?

Used to be a great stop, now they are understaffed, my order was wrong and was toldni could take or wait 20 to 30 minutes for the right order. Been coming here for years. Worst experience by far.

Just NO. The workers were friendly, but the place is weird. You have to grab a menu, stand at the cash register deciding what you want, order, and pay before you seat yourself. It looks like it used to be a popular spot with a "serve-yourself" salad bar or something, but now it's just kind of empty and lonely with a strange floor plan. It is usually closed when I try to stop; this is awkward since it's a TRUCK STOP RESTAURANT! When are truck drivers supposed to eat?I ordered fish and chips. For $15 dollars I got one piece of fish with weird, sweet, tartar sauce and about 3/4 cup of soggy, room temperature, mini crinkle fries no longer than 1/2 an inch long each. Very disappointing.

Petro's across the country MUST be going bankrupt. Have found a single Petro worth stopping for.Iron Skillet food is over priced, burnt or under cooked.Black Bear dinner food is at least cooked. Although usually burnt & ALWAYS over priced.Guess PARIS HILTON needs a new party dress & shoes - Hiltons own TA/Petro.Otherwise, it's just lousy fast food. You can get better fast food anywhere else.TA/Petro is NOT worth anyone's time anymore.They need to just close down or sell each location to someone that at least pretends to care about truckers

I don't know what's going on in the kitchen, but I won't eat there again. Ate the fish and chips for dinner. 5am run to the bathroom.Had pancakes bacon and eggs for breakfast. 4pm run to the bathroom. The stalls were getting quite busy.Maybe change the deep fryer oil.

I'll never step foot inside this Iron Skillet restaurant again. I'm not gonna pay for my food before I sit down. That in my opinion is very inconsiderate of the owners to ask that of their potential customers. I hope they go broke and have to close down. From what I just seen in there; they're probably not far from closing. It's a shame because I really enjoyed eating at this one in the past. I left as soon as the waitress told me that I had order and pay first. This is a sit down restaurant; not fast food.

Jesus, Iron Skillet food is to expensive, mediocre, and to hard to get.Says they close at 8 but they were closed by 7pmEven 8 is really to early to close, they open at 7am too.They open after everyone has left, and closes before everyone is done driving.If they bankrupted I'd never notice!As for the Atmosphere it looked fine through the locked gate (as usual)

Usually I really enjoy Iron Skillets - my first impression here was not the best.I don’t suppose there’s anything wrong with ordering at the counter and paying before I eat, though I typically don’t tip half as much as I would if we pay afterward. I don’t know how the food or the service will be yet.. ??The guy running around here is doing pretty good, but he’s definitely got a full-time job, keeping up by himself.

I have been to this location several times and the waitress There is just so outstanding she goes above and beyond the amount of work she does all by herself is incredible and she's so impressive and nice at the same. Unreal the work she can handle by herself and I also see her doing dishes a lot. Sad that there isn't any help for the young lady. I can't remember her name but she is a tall blonde with tattoos. I have been to several of the locations and never seen anyone like her. She works the night - swing shift to her great service thank you

I ordered the rib-eye steak. It wasn’t ribeye, I think it was like the cheapest steak you can get. Couldn’t chew it to tough. Flavor was wonderful though.
