Jack & Dan's Bar & Grill

We had a whole group of Gonzaga alumni from out of town/country to celebrate a 10 year university graduation and a wedding, and not only did the staff refuse to accept valid UK drivers’ licenses of my 72 year old father-in-law and 34 year old husband as proof of ID with a group of 10 American people over 30, but they also told us sarcastically “good luck getting in anywhere”, when we went immediately to another bar (and had been to many local bars, restaurants and stores during the trip) without them needing to carry their original passport with them. The UK license they hold is enough to drive legally in the USA, so staff should really be trained and capable of validating a license for the purpose of having a few beers (particularly when the guest are clearly at least 1-5 decades above the drinking age). We also offered to share high quality scans of the passports to complement their completely valid universal driving permits, which apparently weren’t acceptable (as if anyone carries their original passport on a night out to have a couple drinks).

Another bar received our business for the evening, but it’s still a bit ridiculous we brought our guests all the way here only to be told condescendingly that we wouldn’t get in anywhere else due to “the law” when this is the single bar in years of visits to Washington that we’ve ever had an issue. Saying we couldn’t be served at this specific bar due to their policy would have been enough without the patronizing tone of the staff.

Always great service and tasty food! The jalapeno poppers are amazing and they make a killer tuna melt!

The bacon burger I order wasn’t don’t buy a quarter inch through and the fries were cold and limp. Yes I took it to go but grabbed a fry when I left the parking lot it was cold and limp then. I thought ok one but no so much 30 bucks down the drain. And the beer out of th tap is flat and the glasses are dirty giving you the slimy feel on your lips. Won’t waste my time or money here again. I don’t need to get sick. Please don’t eat here. Or drink here.

My granddaughters and I went for the first time. We loved the food. A pipe band showed up and it was wonderful listening to music from my homeland of Scotland. Although it was the wearing of the green day ☘️ hopefully next time we can find a table in the bar 🍺

Great dive. Service is quick and attentive. Atmosphere is lively. Love the tvs show sports. Great place for a pint and chat with friends.

I have eaten at this place a few times & even when Joey (my Great Uncle) owned it. It's a great place to eat, drink, watch games, or just hang out. I always stop by when I'm in the area.

I didn't eat, but we had a retirement party there. They were accommodating and helpful, giving a large space and quite a few drinks!

Our server was outstanding! I think her name is Mia. The food was excellent and the atmosphere was electric, other servers and patrons were friendly. It was fun seeing all the fans and so many cute older couples. We will definitely be going back.

Interesting place. If this place had attentive, solid servers it would earn more stars.
