Busy spot with great breakfast food. Server very nice but inattentive, probably due to full restaurant.

The waitress, by pass us to take our order for another customer who goes there a lot. Waited another 5 minutes before our order was taken. The food was excellent, and the amount was perfect. But the service needs more attention when your waitress skipped you over for a regular. Thank you.

The food is always good, but the price you pay for it is way too much. The service wasn't great this time. Between 2 of us, we spent $65 on breakfast. That was mainly because the server didn't tell us about the uncharge.

This will be the third time we have been to Kalico Kitchen and have been disappointed. We keep coming back in hopes it will be like the old Kalico Kitchen on Division street. Unfortunately we were disappointed again. My wife made a joke on the way in, I hope they don’t seat us in the cold corner again. Well, here we sit in the cold corner. So atmosphere is a no. The food is actually ok so I gave it 3 stars. The waitress was nice, however was more interested in making lattes 5 feet away than helping us. She never came by to ask how things were or refill our coffee. I am currently here waiting for a coffee refill, that my wife had to flag her down for… I would be more sympathetic if it was Sunday or Saturday morning since I was a line cook for years, but it’s Monday… we wont be coming back sorry it was awesome till it wasn’t.

The atmosphere was nice, service prompt, food great! I got the California Benedict and fresh squeezed OJ that was worth the extra cost.

Server ignored us for the most part. Asked for extra sauce, it was 3.50$, for a tarter size cup. Uugg. Only one cup of coffee🤔

If I could give negative stars, I would. Kalico Kitchen wasn’t just the worst dining experience I’ve ever had—it was the worst experience of my entire life. I’m genuinely stunned this place is still allowed to operate.

The moment I walked in, I was hit with an unholy combination of stale grease, sadness, and what I can only assume was a war crime in smell form. The decor looks like it hasn’t been updated since the invention of electricity, and the floors felt like they hadn’t been cleaned since.

But let’s talk about the food. Calling it “food” feels generous. What arrived at my table looked like it had survived both a kitchen fire and a fistfight. Every bite was a new level of punishment—overcooked, underseasoned, and somehow cold and burnt at the same time. I wouldn’t serve this to spider-ano.

I walked out feeling like I needed a shower, a therapist, and possibly an exorcist. I wouldn’t recommend this place to anyone—not my friends, not my enemies, not even willstopher lightyear.

Kalico Kitchen isn’t just a bad restaurant—it’s a cautionary tale. Stay far, far away.

A neat place with lots of options and great customer service. Diner food, so nothing spectacular but it’s a great breakfast spot.

I am strictly giving this place a 3 star because the staff is great. Very sweet and hard working as well as care about each other and their customers however the food wasn't that great. I ordered the hungry man breakfast.. the toast was sourdough and thick but tasted old and like it was made in a dirty toaster. The eggs and hashbrowns were okay but needed salt.. the sausage links were way over cooked and very rubbery but the most disappointing thing on the plate were the biscuits and gravy. The biscuits were thin, bland and over cooked and the gravy tasted like flour and water with no salt. For a $21 dollar plate I expected much better. My mom had the Monte Cristo and the meat was still cold in the middle. And the coffee was disgusting.. but on a better note ... my son really enjoyed the hot chocolate.
