The food is so homey and so is the vibe. The owners are the sweetest older couple ever and they really make you feel like you’re right at home! The food is amazing and the wait is not that long. Usually you can get seared in minutes but when it’s lunch hour, expect a wait. It gets filled fast. It’s one of those hidden gems of Spokane.
Traditional authentic Korean food with a comfortable atmosphere. The side dishes were prepared perfectly

First and foremost, the 11 star review let’s just say that guy‘s not very bright. Don’t bring a very small and closed pallet to an authentic place and expect it to blow your mind like the food is wonderful. The food is real and authentic the owners work every single day they come in at 6 AM and make everything by hand. It is very affordable and very delicious. I highly recommend anybody to expand their pallet. The food is wonderful and the owner himself is a very kind gentleman. I wish them the best God will Bless them

I like the banchan, but the bulgogi and yakisoba we ordered are way tooo salty. It is like they mistakenly added too much dark soy sauce. Would like to give five star if it is not that salty.

I rarely leave reviews, but the food felt rushed and lacked flavor.

Arrived at 7pm, literally told they are not serving or take out any more.

I came here with high expectations after seeing it recommended on Facebook, but it was disappointing. There were many side dishes, but none of them were very tasty — I’d prefer fewer dishes that are truly flavorful. Overall, the food tasted more like a fusion style rather than authentic Korean flavors. After reading other reviews, I realized that American customers probably prefer fusion-style Korean food over traditional ones.

I feel like I should warn people not to get the oxtail soup. It's not the milky white broth I'm used to, it look more like just short rib soup. I know I asked for no noodles but for like 5-6 pieces of meat, some onions and broth for $17 is kind of a rip off. Even if it had noodles, I don't think it would've made up for it. Banchans were okay, decent amount, I do like that they use mixed rice but that's about it.

After they changed the ownership, the food never taste the same, the sauce for bibimbap is way too sweet and the veggies have no flavor like before.

I normally don't do reviews. But I attempt to calls the restaurant and no answer. I'm local and have been to this restaurant since the original owners and the quality of the foods keep declining with each owners. Few weeks ago I ordered 5 pick up orders, and by the time I got to my friends house opened up the food, there is no banchan. I thought maybe the new owner has changed and I have to buy banchan now. So today I placed couple of orders for pick up again, and confirmed with the person pick up my order that they still give banchan to all orders. I placed my order of chicken teriyaki, and she ask if I want with veggies or not. I said no veggies just grilled chicken, but guess what got soggy chicken pieces stir fried with veggies. For some people this might not a big deal, for me it is. I don't know if I want to give them another chance in the near future. If you order to go, make sure to check your order before you leave the restaurant.

This place was amazing, truly a little hidden gem just north of downtown. From the moment we walked in, we were greeted with the kind of warmth and friendliness you only find in family-run spots. The food was outstanding, the service felt genuine, and the location was easy to find with plenty of nearby parking. Honestly, I wanted to come back the next day.
My wife and I ordered the Dinner Galbi (beef ribs) and the Bibimbap (rice dish). Wonderfully paired together.
The Galbi beef was phenomenal. Perfectly marinated and seasoned, tender all the way through, and packed with deep, homemade flavor. I’ve had this dish at plenty of Korean restaurants, and this one hits like something made in someone’s kitchen with care and love. Each bite was soft, juicy, and bursting with umami.
The Bibimbap was exactly to my liking, served with purple rice and a colorful mix of fresh, flavorful ingredients. Normally, I like to add extra condiments to punch things up, but here it didn’t need a thing. Everything was balanced and delicious. It paired perfectly with the Galbi and rounded out the meal beautifully.
The customer service deserves a special mention. The owner was incredibly friendly and welcoming, the kind of person you could talk to for hours. We showed him a couple of items we were considering, and instead of just pointing to the most “popular” thing on the menu, he took the time to explain the ingredients and recommended what he genuinely thought we’d enjoy. You can tell he has great relationships with his regulars, and it gives the place a real community vibe.
The location is easy to get to, and when they started cooking our food, the entire place filled with the most mouthwatering aroma. The decor is simple and traditional, exactly what you’d expect from a mom-and-pop shop. It’s cozy, unpretentious, and feels like the kind of place where you make new friends over a hearty home-cooked meal.
I can’t recommend this place enough. If you love authentic Korean food and warm hospitality, this is absolutely worth the visit. We’ll definitely be coming back.

I’m not from Spokane and whenever I pass through I make it an intention to visit this place. Hands down a fantastic place for Korean food. The Korean food is flavorful and the vibe reminds you of a grandmothers kitchen. As with most Korean meals it comes with banchan (side dishes) which are delicious.
This time I had the pleasure of being served by the owner (I’m guessing), he was very kind and made me feel extremely welcome. I will come back and I highly recommend this place.
