I'm a huge fan of Cascadia, so I was thrilled to see the owners open a sister restaurant, Kindred Public House. We went on my husband's birthday, which happened to fall on the same week as restaurant week. We had a bigger lunch, so we decided to go with appetizers to share. Came in for restaurant week. It was very busy but we were able to get right in. We ordered different items off of the restaurant week menu to share. Everything had so much flavor! We did the pork belly and mushroom calamari. Love how the mushrooms were gluten and dairy free. This place is very inclusive of dietary restrictions. Restaurant Week! I was excited to try Kindred! The vibe inside was cute, busy, and casual. Service was great! The food was good but not much stood out to me. I had tacos as an appetizer that were a little bland, the Seoul Cheesesteak was good but there are better cheesesteaks in town (Chowderhead, the Lantern).
