I hate leaving a review like this, but I've spoken to others who had a similar experience.

The food is good. It's not amazing. It's not awful. It's definitely good.

The service is what really turns me off to this place. Each time I come in and say I don't drink alcohol what zero proof options are available, I am met with disgust and scorn. It's always been the same older lady (50s/ 60s) who meets me with some snark-y comment about the situation. It's 2025 ... zero proof is in, and I shouldn't feel shamed because of it.

One night, my husband and I were in there, and an elderly couple came in (mid-70s). The husband asked about gluten-free options, and, again, this same snark-y server acted appalled by his request. His wife walked him out to the car when there were no viable food options, and the staff immediately started gossiping about the couple. When the wife returned, she was treated with such disrespect and little care all because her husband had a gluten allergy.

It's these types of things that will keep me from frequenting Latah Bistro again. In this economy, I don't have to spend money at a restaurant where customers are treated like trash due to their food restrictions. I'll go across the street to the very welcoming and always friendly Chaps.

Never had trouble with quality of the food. Never have had any issue with staff. But the menu selection is just waning steadily. No more duck. No more pork belly. No more reuben. I know costs climb, but I don't really feel like paying top dollar for a meatloaf sandwich. Look at the menu before you go.

Vegetarian options: There really aren't many vegetarian, vegan, or gluten free options. Most of the salads can be ordered whatever way, but it's just a salad. Staff are accomodating to guests.

Parking: It's in a huge parking lot. Think Walmart on steroids.

Kid-friendliness: I don't really think the menu to be all that kid friendly. If someone had a family of six or seven, might have a hard time getting a table.

Wheelchair accessibility: After a curb, good to go.

Recommended dishes: Pork Saltimbocca with Fingerling Potatoes, French Onion Soup, Flatbread, Light Lunch Ceaser and Butternut Squash Soup

Oh wow! Just got dinner at this amazing bistro after a long day of traveling home from California. The food was absolutely amazing and our waitress Bianca was so tentative and friendly! The only semi negative thing we had to say was that the service was so amazing that we didn't have a chance to sneak and lick our plates clean 😂 100% will definitely will be going back ❤️ Thank you So much Latah Bistro!

Chicken dish from the summer menu was amazing. That sauce was perfection. I could have licked the plate. And the service was great too. We always love Latah Bistro!

A great place to meet with your family and friends but it's pricey. More for the yuppies.

I've been to this restaurant dozens of times and every single time it's been outstanding. The food is great. The service is great. Just a great place to go.

Came in for dinner but had to leave after drinks and an appetizer because of the foul mouth of the cooking staff. I lost count of the f bomb after 6 times. Brought it up to the air staff and was never given an apology, just the ticket.

Our food took forever to arrive and then it was all cold. It was also not good. Incredibly expensive and small portions. Will not return.

The food is super expensive and just very bad. We were sitting at a table outside and the cooks are outside smoking.
It’s just a lowlife overpriced place in a parking lot. Go to high class Luna on the South Hill instead. Way better choice.
Will never go here again. Huge waste of money.

Do you know about the hidden gem, only five minutes from downtown Spokane? If you're looking for a great place to eat, I recommend trying out the local bistro. They have friendly staff, and I'm sure you'll enjoy your experience there.Their wine list is exceptional, but tonight, we decided to try their cocktails.Get ready to tantalize your taste buds with these incredible drinks and appetizers! Start with a Heat Wave cocktail that packs a punch with vodka, jalapeño, passionfruit liquor, and triple sec. Or, try a refreshing Pomegranate Margarita made with tequila, pomegranate, lime, and triple sec.Indulge in a Butter Board layered with smoked honey butter and rosemary, served with delicious applesauce with pistachio and sourdough bread. And don't miss out on the Carrots that are cooked to perfection with smoked honey butter and blackened dill, served with pork rinds. It's no wonder why these Carrots are so addictiveThe beet salad with a brown butter vinaigrette, frisee, and crispy onions was a good side choiceMy hubby ordered the steaks and couldn't stop raving about how it was comparable to Churchills - that's how good it was!As for me, I got the halibut; it was a good-sized portion. The chard vegetables- asparagus, were delicious. And the best part? We ended our meal with a warm, gooey blueberry cobbler that was just divine!Oh, I almost forgot! There are no kid's menus, but our server suggested either pizza or they can serve butter noodlesLatah Bistro? 4241 S Cheney Spokane RdSpokane, WA 99224United States
