I've always enjoyed Luna, but my most recent experience (on my birthday) was extremely disappointing. We arrived at 4:15 p.m. with a party of four, and what should have been an enjoyable dinner turned into a nearly three-hour ordeal. The service was disorganized and inattentive. Our meals did not arrive together, 2 plates came out, then the third arrived 5-10 minutes later and I waited an additional 15 minutes before mine was served. By the time my food arrived, the rest of my party had nearly finished eating. To make matters worse, the restaurant has now implemented a “surcharge” that was never mentioned by the server or printed clearly on the menu. It only appeared on the bill at the end of the meal, which felt misleading and unprofessional. Overall, the experience fell far short of the standard this restaurant once had. Between the poor service, long delays, and unexpected fees, it's clear that the quality and care have declined significantly. Unfortunately, I won't be returning, which is truly disappointing given how much I used to enjoy dining here.

Went to Luna last night. Food was good, service was good. I had the filet and my wife got the salmon, both cooked well. My issue is that there's a 3.5% surcharge on the bill that wasn't mentioned anywhere. Not on the menu, not by our server. I only noticed it when the check came. Restaurants need to stop with these "junk fees" and I won't be returning as long as this practice exists here. It's simple. If your costs are too high, raise your prices. Don't surprise people with extra charges after they've already eaten. I'm fine paying more for a meal, but most of us want to know what we're paying upfront. This feels sneaky and left a bad taste after an otherwise nice dinner.

The restaurant was SO INCREDIBLY LOUD, will definitely take that into consideration before dining here again! Ambience was wonderful, and our server Cassandra M was awesome. The food was enjoyable for the most part with a few misses, especially for the price.

Luna is a wonderful spot to meet friends for cocktails — the drink menu is creative and fun, and the new bar is absolutely stunning. Our server was kind and attentive, and the meals were delicious. One small suggestion for management would be to consider limiting large group sizes. During our visit, a nearby party of twelve didn't have the social skills or courtesy and was quite loud, which made it difficult to enjoy the otherwise lovely atmosphere. It was constant yelling and a few times actual screaming.It didn't take away from how great the food and service were, but a little more balance in the noise level would make the experience even better.

The new room at Luna is too loud. And the tables are so close together that you feel like you're sitting on top of your neighbors. Longtime fan of Luna, but that new room is just not great unless you are at the bar. Fortunately, they were able to reseat us when we requested and I commend them for that.

The "herbin martini" was the best item of the evening. We enjoyed the fresh oysters and crabcakes. Unfortunately, the drinks and appetizers couldn't overcome the lackluster overdone sea bass and jerk chicken special; nor could they overcome the small size of the Luna Burger. Similarly, the desserts we ordered we did not even finish. Hopefully this was just an off night. We have eaten at Lunas for brunch, lunch and dinner many times over the last 20 years and have enjoyed excellent meals!
We were sat next to a very loud group in the back area. Other than that, terrific! Highly recommend the SeaBass. Current presentation is beautiful.

Quite good food, quite good service. Very pricey, almost ridiculously so. And then they cap the bill with a 3.5% service charge that they explain on the bottom of the bill "only goes to the restaurant". Reading this in the low light it would be easy to think this service charge was going to the servers. Not so.....All to the restaurant. They are gouging with their already high prices. Too bad. Doubt the Bonds would be happy about that.
