Madeleine's Cafe & Patisserie is not a far cry from a French bistro but is very close with quality and decor. Pastries are incredible. Coffee is tasty, not burnt. Staff are knowledgeable, friendly and hard working. Highly recommend the quiche and side pasta and any of their melt in your mouth buttery croissants.

Brunch on Sunday, busy place.
Food is mediocre, mushroom omelet had lots of egg shells in it,buckwheat pancakes were heavy bricks. Coffee was good but that's about it. Over priced for bot great food

Likely the best mushroom omelette I’ve ever tasted in my life. The drip coffee is so so, but the omelet makes up for it. ❤️

Kid-friendliness: It's a quiet spot with a nice patio. I think kids would enjoy their food options.

We visited on a Sunday morning at around 8:30am and the place was bustling, but not crowded. Service was beyond excellent. Food was delicious. I had the special of the day, their delicious take on Huevos Rancheros. We will definitely return.
Parking: Plenty of free street parking on Sunday.

We arrived at 11:30 a.m. on a weekday. It was a warm sunny day, so we sat outside. I ordered the Fresh Apricot Crepes, a special offerred that day. They were delicious! I also ordered a latte and a Madeline cookie. Yum! Everything was good and I do recommend this place for a delicious lunch.
The outdoor seating is cheery and quaint. It really is the perfect place for a long conversation with a good friend. Restrooms were easily accessible and clean.
Parking: I parked across the street in a paid parking lot. No free parking is available.

The croissant was good. The buckwheat crepe could have had more filling. Will have to try more menu items.

I ordered the Rueben Sandwich and it was inedible. The cornbeef was the toughest meat I’ve eaten in a very long time. The sandwich was doused with Russian dressing. The whole sandwich dripped everywhere and fell apart

The food was great, the staff were hustling and working their butts off on a busy Sunday morning. They were doing their absolute best.
Our breakfast was so good, I got the Croque Madam and my wife got the breakfast sandwich. The potatoes were perfect.
However, the only reason we didn't give a perfect rating is one of the servers was dressed so slovenly, she looked as though she went to the gym worked out and them came directly to work after. So improperly dressed for serving food, all of her midsection was exposed; plus, she kept wiping her hands on the back and sides of her shorts. They were dirty.
We just took our food to go and enjoyed it elsewhere.
We're from out of town and will definitely eat here again, hoping that we'll get to dine in next time.

This place has gone down hill in the past couple years. Was in for a cinnamon roll and it was raw (this has happened there previously as well, not the first time). Disappointing to pay $7 for something you can't even enjoy. If you get something to go, you may have to make sure it is cooked properly before leaving the building!
