Great staff and food!

My wife heard great things about this place so we really wanted to try it. No joke, I tried to call 18 times over the course of 3 days, between the hours of 8am to 9pm and never once to anyone answer the phone. Would love to try it but can't make a reservation. Tried on their website to make a reservation but it takes you to open table and then says the restaurant isn't available on open table... no idea how to get ahold of anyone or make a reservation.

This restaurant is absolutely beautiful inside. We spent $130 after tip for 2 people. We had two cocktails each and shared a pasta and a small appetizer. The server was incredibly kind, but the restaurant was not busy and the service was slow. The steak bites were so tasty in the garlic butter but way over cooked. The pasta was bleh. Would try again.

The restaurant is very clean and welcoming. The server was very nice. The food was delicious. However our order was a bit incorrect but the server offered to make the adjustments on our bill. I would recommend if you’re looking for a good breakfast spot. It’s very affordable and delicious.

The staff, the food and the atmosphere are top notch!Staff are patient, helpful and knowledgeable! The breakfast was delicious - next time we're in town, we know better and will go here for dinner! And the atmosphere is so chic and exactly the vibe I didn't know I needed in a Hotel bar! I love it there!

Sad to share one of my favorite restaurants in Spokane is no longer the quality, pricing, and service it was highly rated for. The management and kitchen are different!About a month ago I came in with a group of coworkers. It was not busy at all. We had the new manager talk to us which was a good start but didn't last. Unfortunately the service was awful, every dish had copious amounts of salt it was inedible, we all ordered different things and were disgusted. On top of that the manager made a drink for us to try that was awful and we were charged for it! Don't bring a customer a drink they didn't order and then charge them! The menu drinks were still good quality and what I expected although the service for them was painstakingly slow. We also had to ask for additional drinks everytime the server cleared our table. You should automatically ask it's how you rack up a bill for good tips.I won't be returning until I hear they've figured out the new management and cook.

This is the best restaurant we've been to in awhile. Food is well prepared and tasty. Good bottle of wine too.

We had reservations for a large group of people on a Friday night. other than us, there were only two other groups. our reservation was for 5:30 and it took more than two hours to get our food. Apparently there was just one cook. About half the dishes were delivered after the two-hour wait, but it took another hour to get the rest of the meals delivered. I ordered seafood primavera with mussels, shrimp, and scallops. There were no scallops and the shrimp was overcooked. Worse, the sauce was brown and tasted burnt. One of my guests ordered the same dish, which came an hour after I received mine, and hers looked better. Several guests complained about their food. Food that we didn't order was delivered to us and charged to our bill, which took time to clear up. To their credit, they provided some appetizers for us.

Went to magnolia before a show at the fox and the whole experience was a disappointment. There was one other table when we arrived yet our food took nearly an hour. We also ordered a caprese salad and it didn’t come until after our entrees had already been eaten. The food was equally as disappointing and the server was very aggressive when we voiced our frustrations. Would never recommend this restaurant.

The food was....not great. We had the mussels which were super salty, and half of them (we counted 9) were closed, therefore inedible. We notified our server who took the plate and said he'd inform the chef, yet still charged us full price for a dish that we couldn't eat half of. We ordered two entrees, both with way overcooked & rubbery chicken. The asparagus had their woody stems still attached, and were almost raw. There were flies inside, landing on our food and drinks. The food also took a very long time to come out although almost all the tables were empty. 2 stars for the courteous enough service, but I was still disappointed in having to pay $60 for just one appetizer and two entrees which were all subpar.

In a world full of ho-hum brunch restaurants, Magnolia is a real gem! The food is absolutely delicious, and the bread is homemade. Wonderful service and ambience.

Sat down at 10am for breakfast. The waiter was nice and cleared a table for me. Unfortunately I had to source my own silverware from another table as I couldn’t get his attention. I then finished my cup of coffee and waited about 10 minutes to get a refill. The food took 35 minutes to come out and I had to ask for the coffee refill after the waiter delivered the food but didn’t check on the coffee. Odd experience. Luckily, I had a voucher from the hotel for a free breakfast.

My daughter and I planned an overnight outing in Spokane with dinner and a concert. We were very excited to try Magnolia. The location near the Fox makes it a natural destination for pre concert dinner and the reviews seemed promising. We could not have been more disappointed. The interior is lovely and we were seated at a great table. The wine list is eclectic but balanced and very reasonably price positioned. According to the Manager, they are in the process of redesigning their wine list, however, the bottle of wine we ended up with was the one thing we were not disappointed with. Dinner menu was heavy on pasta. We ordered the mussels, caprese salad, and mushroom ravioli to split. The mussels were so salty as to be inedible. We thought that perhaps some bread would help - we were brought a piece of what appeared to be Texas toast. It did not help. The tomato in the Caprese salad were under ripe and we cut our bites around the green center. The mushroom ravioli were prepared well, not over cooked, however the sauce was off. It was as if the sauce had been prepared at too high of temp. Service was spotty and unpolished. Magnolia has such potential, with their location they could have a built in theatre clientele - but they must be able to produce consistently delicious food.

Great staff! Super friendly, and the food was delicious. I came down for an espresso, not realizing they had closed an hour before. The manager stepped up and made me one anyway, and it was way better than the coffee joint down the block. Kudos for excellent customer service and quality food ?
