I am appalled at the wreckage your making of an iconic neighborhood bar. Tactless so called "renovation" of a crude volleyball court in which I do not mind except for advertising nudity as I drive by with my husband and children. Think of something else to do like serve excellent food and nostalgic vibes of yesteryear, when my father would meet weekly with his high school buddies. Its crap, in my neighborhood of historic homes. I'm sorely disappointed as I had Hope's of building West Central up.

Awesome I would give ten stars . Food was amazing and the price was not what I expected to be. Thought it was going to be much higher but it came in on the Lolo which I didn't complain about but I was still thought that it would be pretty pricey for what food we got. But yes if you want to get some good food and a great price Maxwell's is your place hands down I got to say probably one of the best food places I've had in years and I get out quite a bit so you want to fill up your belly on a small budget you definitely chose the right spot. Once again I want to thank Maxwell house for their hospitality and their awesome food you'll be seeing me again soon

Have driven and walked by many times and finally went in. What a pleasant surprise! Broasted chicken and the fish and chips were on point. Solid draft beer selection and specials during happy hour. Also, they have a beach volleyball court for some summer Top Gun action!

The Maxwell House is a classic dive bar. However the owners have been making excellent improvements over the past 18 moths or so. Great staff and service, great prices, decent kitchen.
Parking: Parking lot in rear, free street parking all along Maxwell.
Kid-friendliness: Somewhat. Very rarely are there kids inside. It's very Much a bar atmosphere.
Good food. Not trans/queer friendly, which is unfortunate.
