We had our wedding here. It was a absolute blast and the staff was unbelievably helpful. I would recommend this place for anyone looking for an event venue.

I got married here a couple of years ago. I want to say first that this place was great for a wedding. Great to have staff there to help out and the space was beautiful. They were very accommodating. The food was also amazing and I understand why they partner with steam plant. They were also super kind about budget and being flexible. The only one thing that was hard was on the day of my wedding my father got asked to cover the rest of the cost of the wedding, and mind you I had two cards on file, confirmed by the manager they would be charged and I would not have to worry about it the night of. My dad didn't talk to me for a couple of hours afterwards because he thought I left him the bill (I already left at that time he got asked). Sadly could have been avoided, but I don't think that this one incident kills the reputation of montvale. I still appreciate how great they were. Thank you!

My husband and I booked the Montvale Event Center for our wedding reception. The venue was beautiful and the service we received during the event and while planning was exceptional. Erin was our event coordinator; she made whole the process stress-free and fun. We booked a loft suite in the Montvale which gave us quick access to the venue during the reception. We truly can't recommend the Montvale enough, and we are so happy with our experience.

I photographed a wedding at Montvale Event Center back in 2023. My couple were having a 1920's Hollywood Glamour themed wedding and it was nothing short of spectacular. I highly recommend this venue if you are looking to incorporate this historic architecture. From the wooden staircases to the details throughout the space itself. I would definitely love to photograph another wedding here!
I have never given a catered event 5 stars but thos one deserves 6! What great catering for our party! No cheap bagged lettuce taste or nasty box taco shells...this was excellent, quality food prepared well and served by kind, professional staff

Erin at MEC is simply incredible and goes WAYYYY above and beyond what her job description is and SHE gets 5 starts. She answered ALL questions in a timely manner for nearly a year. She made sure we were good to go for EVERY detail leading up to our wedding - she was really in our corner and we couldn't have the perfect to us wedding we did. She is an amazing person and truly cares about the events in MEC. I just can't say thank you enough to her. A lot of the bridal party also commented on her help and willingness to help. She did so much for us. SO MUCH that she didn't need to. The venue is beautiful and perfect for weddings. Now the very bad: I was EXTREMELY displeased with the RUDE and unprofessional banquet coordinator, she interrupted us THREE TIMES while speaking to our guests DURING the wedding, once at our head table - in the literal middle of sentences. Additionally, the bar situation was not followed and our guests were charged for drinks when they shouldn't have. They failed to provide what was in our contract. They turned the lights on at 10:12 PM and cleaned up MY belongings WHILE my wedding was going on without speaking to either of us, this confused dozens and dozens of people who were concerned because we had the venue until 11 PM - per the contract. They were not respectful and actually broke some of our decor and THREW AWAY $325 OF OUR DECOR. I AM FLOORED BY THIS AND THE BANQUET COORDINATOR WOMAN IS TO BE BLAMED . Finally, it was never disclosed to us that the music cannot be loud - it was a primary complaint that the music was not loud enough - unfortunately for us. I would encourage you to have EVERYTHING IN THE CONTRACT AND STAND YOUR GROUND WHEN THEY DON'T FOLLOW IT.

The Montvale Event Center is the perfect venue for anyone looking for that classic, beautiful venue. The price is great, the staff is incredible. The historical decorum of the venue can’t be recreated and it really adds an incredible energy to any event. I had my wedding here and it was more than I could have ever imagined. For someone who knew she wanted an indoor wedding (that’s not a barn), this was EXACTLY what I had always wanted. The apartment style loft that is available to book is 100% worth it, being able to have a room that is connected to the event center was such a relief and was a great home-base for us. Erin, the venue coordinator, really cared about our event and helped us create the day of our dreams. There is a rooftop space great for photos, the bridal ready room is gorgeous, the groom ready room is super cool and had a shuffleboard, there are plenty of bathrooms (sometimes hard to come by in older buildings), and the bar spaces are beautiful. (I will come back and add more photos when I get my professional photos back!)
