The food is great but I got laughed at for asking the waitress to repeat her self after I let her know I am hard of hearing and wear hearing aids. So patience would have been nice.

Always a wonderful and peaceful meal at the Mustard seed. I can honestly say I've never had bad service or low quality food. The chicken Osaka is absolutely fantastic. I'll always recommend them!

Came here with my family on a Tuesday evening. When we ordered, my mother-in-law asked for noodles instead of rice. The food came out, but the noodles were missing. The waitress apologized and had them made right away. I ordered a cup of soup, but it showed up in a big bowl. She said they were busy and served it that way 🤷‍♀️—though the restaurant really wasn’t that busy.

Overall, the food was fine, but nothing special.

I came for lunch hoping for yakisoba (fried noodles with veg) but I got a wet, non-crispy noodle dish with meat that had zero caramelization. I was pleased with the amount of veg in the dish, but there was no spice and it had a messy sauce. I was very disappointed, especially for $25 total cost, and I will go elsewhere next time I have an Asian craving. With that said, it wasn't crowded/loud, the restroom was clean, and I had good service.

First time eating here....we love asian food but not sure how a restaurant can stay in business with food that is absolutely disgusting. Cant say anything nice. Will not be going back.....

Consistently excellent Asian-American fusion restaurant with fresh and delicious dishes. My favorites are Chicken Osaka, pork-fried rice, Bong Bong Chicken, gyozas, pork spring rolls, edamame, pork platter, California rolls, and stir fry bowls.

Not sure if it was a one-off but the food was gross. I had an orange shrimp dish ordered as a lunch bowl. They slopped the shrimp, white rice, and soupy coleslaw all in the same bowl - it ran together before I could take my first bite (dining in restaurant.) The flavor was horrible (I do not like coleslaw but who knew it was going to be served mingled with my orange shrimp in 'must-go soup' fashion.

This used to be one of my favorite places when I come to Spokane. This time, however, the food was not good. It's very bland and no seasoning. We ordered the seasoned rice, which was simple steamed rice. When asking about it, we were told that the seasoned rice is just butter and soy sauce. In case they were unaware, soy sauce would at least turn the rice light brown. The only dish with any flavor was the shrimp. The cashew chicken was flavorless, the beef and broccoli barely tolerable, the sweet and sour pork at least had some flavor (sweet and sour sauce) but was severely undercooked and soggy. I probably will not be going back.

The food didn’t taste authentic, how do you add pineapple coconut in Mandarin oranges into a dish and call it Maui?

Obsessed with the teriyaki chicken and green beans

Almond chicken was amazing!
