This cafe is truly amazing, the baristas inside are changing their lives while learning to do a service for the community and gaining job experience. With this being a training cafe, yes sometimes you must be patient because they are constantly learning. But if you are willing to be a little gracious, it is worth the wait to support such a stellar non-profit. Plus the specials are delicious!!
Someone was training on the register today but I still had to repeat my order many times. The person that eventually served me lingered which was a bit uncomfortable. It's good that these people are doing something positive to rebuild their lives but maybe they need to focus more on appropriate customer interaction and
The New Leaf Cafe is a non profit that helps train and teach vocational skills to women who are struggling . For me , it was the foundation I needed for building a new life for myself .
