Palm Court Grill Reviews
Visited with family for a birthday 'high tea' and were pretty disappointed.
High tea is usually more toward the savory side and usually includes a warm soup to start. This is more like afternoon tea, with light sandwiches, scones, and sweets.
Pros: The cucumber sandwiches and smoked salmon profiteroles were delicious, as well as some of the seasonal flavors in the sweets (chai panna Cotta and pumpkin mousse).
The tea was delicious.

Food was AMAZING!! Bloody Mary bar is a meal in itself.
Clueless wait staff. Our entrees arrived before our starters. Not how’s it normally done. During the meal I regularly had to get up myself and get the water pitcher to get a refill. The mediocre food gave me terrible diarrhea almost immediately after eating. Go and look at the hotel but don’t waste your money, time or health eating there.

Palm Court Grill offers a charming atmosphere, making it a popular choice for special occasions. The setting is beautiful with a historic building that adds to its appeal. The restaurant is known for its friendly service, and the ambiance is elegant, especially during events like the Signature Sunday Brunch Easter Edition held in the Isabella Ballroom, which features giant chandeliers, subtle purple lighting, and white tablecloths with gold chairs. Guests enjoy the variety of food arranged in the center of the ballroom, with a salad bar offering many toppings and a tasty selection of dishes. Many diners praise the eggs benedict, while some feel that meat options can be dry or lack flavor. The brunch experience is generally positive, with attendees appreciating the spacious setting and good service, despite some minor issues like limited vegan options.
However, some recent experiences highlight areas for improvement. Guests have noted that the regular dining experience can be disappointing, with the main dining area feeling disconnected in seating arrangements. The food on the buffet has been reported as cold and lacking in quality, with some items being underseasoned or less fresh. The crab Louie and kids' Mac and cheese received criticism for portion size and flavor. While the salmon and asparagus were praised, other dishes did not meet expectations. Service at times can seem overwhelmed, and the overall value may not match the prices, especially when compared to other options. Despite the beautiful environment and friendly valet service, the restaurant’s food quality and consistency have declined, making it less appealing for those seeking high-quality meals. Overall, the Palm Court Grill remains a lovely place for special occasions but may not satisfy all diners looking for great food and a seamless experience.
