Great experience, the food was fantastic. Beautiful ambiance, overall really great. Staff was super nice, answered all our questions and helpful!

This place is a hipster tourist trap. I would give 0 stars if possible. Their food ranges between bland and okay, and it's INSANELY OVERPRICED. I could not believe how expensive our food was. The food tastes like the complimentary free breakfast at mid level hotels. Powdered tasting eggs, bland waffles, and prepackaged tasting taters. Just go to Boots and get their pumpkin waffle with homemade butter and maple syrup. Holy cow, incredible, big portion. You don't even notice it's gluten free. Best waffle in town. The service was okay but the sheer price of this place almost makes you feel resentful towards the establishment, especially considering how lackluster the food is.

Omg, I found my new breakfast spot for my Spokane trips. I'm in town somewhat often, and finally had a chance to try People's Waffle. Hands-down, best gluten-free waffles I've ever had. This place is super small, but cute, and constantly packed, so expect to wait, but it's totally worth it. I waited about 15 minutes for a table for one and was updated the whole time by the hostess on the wait time. She was so friendly and helpful. I sat at the bar top with two other customers, but I didn't mind. I ordered the waffle benedict, and the half order of the blueberry and strawberry waffle. The benedict waffle was slightly salty for me, but it might've been that I haven't had hollandaise in a really long time. I also thought the ham was just a little too thinly shaved, other than that it was delicious. The eggs were cooked perfectly and there was plenty of hollandaise sauce. The blueberry and strawberry waffles were absolutely delicious! I knew I over ordered with the intent of having leftovers for the next morning. The benedict waffle tasted so great reheated, and strawberry and blueberry waffle were delicious ice cold. They were all perfect for a second serving. :) Overall, this place was affordable, clean, and delicious. I highly recommend coming here if you have gluten sensitivities or are gluten-free. I asked about the little disclaimer on the menu about them not being a certified gluten-free kitchen, and my servers response was, even though everything in their kitchen is gluten-free, some of the products they use are manufactured in facilities that are not certified gluten-free, therefore, they cannot get the "certified gluten-free kitchen" stamp of approval. I have celiac, and had absolutely no problems or reaction eating here. I absolutely will be back, and look forward to my next Spokane trip. Thanks, People's Waffle for having such delicious gluten-free food at an affordable price!

Really good but the hot chocolate was lukewarm. The service was good and the waitresses were very friendly. Ambiance was decent.

Honestly one of the best meals of my life. The sweet waffle flight was incredible - a must order. And the benny was delicious. Props to the vegan sausage too. Oh and one of the best Arnold Palmers I've ever had. Will absolutely come back when we're in Spokane. A 100% gluten-free kitchen is always a comfort and makes ordering so simple (which isn't almost never is for someone with Celiac).

Omg wow. What a great little hole-in-the-wall breakfast spot! The kitchen is 100% and EXCLUSIVELY gluten free, with some vegan options. Their waffles are light and fluffy which, in my experience, is hard to achieve with GF recipes. I ordered a "waffle-wich" and I think I it's my new favorite way to eat waffles! All their ingredients were fresh and delicious (you have to try their dairy free whip cream!). The staff was friendly and helpful, even the server who just started was amazing. People's Waffle has made our "must come back to" list. Also, we stayed at Hotel Indigo down the street (see my review for them on my profile), but it's a couple blocks away and very convenient for a quick and/or early breakfast!

Definitely recommend the food here. My friend loved her avocado toast, my strawberry rhubarb waffles were to die for. I asked for some syrup but never needed it. I’ve never had waffles without syrup, so that says something! ❤️ Be warned the seating is very small, you’re sitting very close to other guests. Will probably only be going here alone in the future but will be going back soon!

Everything about this restaurant is the absolute best. I was visiting Spokane and I ate here twice. I'm sorry I found out about the People's Waffle at the end of my trip or I would have eaten there every day. The food was amazing, especially the strawberry waffle. The staff was so friendly and helpful.

I had the peaches and cream waffle and it was excellent. The place is a little small though. We were lucky to get a table.

I have been in twice in the last week. The first time was around 12pm on a Friday. We ordered the avocado toast, roasted potatoes, and a a kids waffle, egg, and bacon. The food was good this day, service was mediocre and the waitress barely came to our table unless we flagged her down. I returned by myself Thursday and ordered the same thing, avocado toast, roasted potatoes, and coffee. I was surprised when my avocado toast came out and the avocado on the waffle appeared grey, like it sat out and oxidized. I took a bite and saw there was no semblance of fresh avocado at all. It seemed like the cook just smothered on old grey avocado. The coffee had a burnt taste, and wasn't worth $4 by any means. The only decent thing was the roasted potatoes. When I asked for ketchup and hot sauce though, the ketchup bottle was dirty under the lid like it is not wiped off between customers, silverware had old food stuck on it, and again, I was checked on one time. I felt so awkward sitting staring directly at a couple dining directly in front of me, and watched as the waitress spent all of her spare time with them, showing them pictures on her phone, talking to them, and basically ignoring the other diners. I wish I had a better seat, as I was dining alone. It appears there’s an entire upper area of the restaurant but I have yet to be seated there or see beyond the curtain blocking it off, but there were diners coming out both times I went. Seems like a waste of space to sit and be forced to awkwardly watch a couple eating, when there appeared to be a lot of the restaurant open. The food was not good but I powered through because I was starving. Overall, I would not return. There was no consistency with the food within one week, and service is bad.

Absolutely delicious! I've been following these guys since they were a good truck and it's tempting to order one of everything on the menu. The offerings impressed my companions who were not gluten free and were not expecting it to be as scrumptious as the food was. We also got the chai and hot chocolate -both were goodDietary restrictions: Gluten free and dairy free optionsKid-friendliness: Many kids here -tweens and teens will feel trendy and enjoy their meal.

I ventured in solo, the atmosphere felt more like a family gathering spot. While it was a tad challenging to accommodate a solo diner like myself, the warmth of the place made up for it. The waffles? Good. They have gluten-free options, which was a huge plus for someone with gluten intolerance. It's reassuring to find places that cater to dietary needs without compromising on taste. Though my experience dining alone felt a bit out of place in a family-oriented setting, I can easily see People's Waffles being the perfect spot for a family outing or a casual brunch with friends. Overall, People's Waffles is a gem worth visiting, whether you're flying solo or with your loved ones. Cheers to good food and warm vibes!
