Wanted to check this place out before it closed. Nice atmosphere and the food was overall pretty good, as were the drinks. Definitely not cheap. Rated 3 stars because the entrees claimed to come with your choice of side, except for a side salad (instead of fries), they charge you $3 extra. This upcharge is hidden on the menu and the wording is very misleading. Not to mention, the 4 small pieces of lettuce the salad consisted of was hardly worth $3 by itself, let alone a $3 upgrade over fries. Intentionally deceiving or extremely poorly worded. Either way, not cool. Other than that, bummer to see it close.

The jalapeno poppers are SO GOOD. We also got the chicken and waffles with jalepano jelly and honey butter and it was so amazing! (The jalapeno jelly didn't add a ton of spice to either.) My nephew ordered the cinnamon rolls and he loved those.

I was so excited to celebrate my birthday here and enjoy their specials. They advertied in great detail on their Facebook post about the sadness they feel closing. I went with 8 friends and the head chef changed his mind and did not want to post on social media they will no longer be honoring their specials. While they reserve the right to change their mind I can't help but feel a bait and switch. We are leaving and sadly I won't be eager to follow them to their next location.

Parking: Most of the parking is located off of Monroe, since they built a new apartment north of there not too long ago.

Food is great, if you have the time. Took over an hour to get food. ONE waitress on staff at dinner time. Poor customer service as a result. The excuse was “the patio is full.” I guess that’s where you have to sit to get service.
