Wanted to check this place out before it closed. Nice atmosphere and the food was overall pretty good, as were the drinks. Definitely not cheap. Rated 3 stars because the entrees claimed to come with your choice of side, except for a side salad (instead of fries), they charge you $3 extra. This upcharge is hidden on the menu and the wording is very misleading. Not to mention, the 4 small pieces of lettuce the salad consisted of was hardly worth $3 by itself, let alone a $3 upgrade...
The jalapeno poppers are SO GOOD. We also got the chicken and waffles with jalepano jelly and honey butter and it was so amazing! (The jalapeno jelly didn't add a ton of spice to either.) My nephew ordered the cinnamon rolls and he loved those.
The food was phenomenal, especially the tartar sauce.
Sad to hear they are closing down next week.
Parking: Most of the parking is located off of Monroe, since they built a new apartment north of there not too long ago.
