Love this bakery and coffee shop. I like the sugar cookies and turkey wedge the best, my darling likes the pasta and says it's hit or miss, sometimes there's enough seasoning and sometimes not.
Try an Italian red bull with huckleberry, pomegranate, raspberry, and coconut milk. It's amazing.

Rocket Bakery makes wonderful cakes that we so far have only found for sale at other businesses. The available food at both the South Hill and downtown location have exclusively pre-made individual baked items (like scones & cookies) and a few wraps and tiny frittatas, all of which are individually wrapped in plastic. You can get coffee, and you can opt to eat there, but the food will still be plastic-wrapped portions and might be marginally warm if you ask to have it microwaved. Not recommended if you're looking to go out for breakfast. (Have not been to the other locations.)

Usually the service is good, but not today. I ordered an Americano and pumpkin bread. When my drink was ready, I had to remind the barista that I’d ordered pumpkin bread. No apology. After I left and my coffee cooled enough to drink it, I realized it had pumpkin flavoring in it. When I took it back, instead of apologizing, the same barista said, “Oh, I heard pumpkin.“ I reminded her that I’d ordered an Americano and pumpkin bread. When my remade drink was ready, she said, “There that will probably be more like you wanted.” Still no apology and no offer to reimburse the cost of the flavoring I didn’t order. Very disappointing visit.

Great little bakery! Would be hard living around here.. not because of the traffic but because of their coffee! Has a beautiful interior! The coffee has a great taste and you can actually taste the the coffee! Amazing!
