Our visit started off rocky as our group of 8 seemed to throw them for a loop (tried to make reservations, couldn’t, went early and hoped for the best). Despite many open tables inside and out, setting up for 8 proved oddly difficult.

Once we were seated, our server automatically put us on the defensive with a rather terse lecture on how they don’t split checks, and gratuity is auto added for a party of our size. Our group of 8 eats out once a month together...

First time at Ruins, although I've read about the place for years. We were immediately greeted, and got to sit outside at our request. We decided to order a bunch of appetizers instead of entrees, so we got the Watermelon Salad, Sausage Rolls, Zucchini Blossoms, Dirty Fries, and the Ahi Tuna Crudo. Everything was outstanding! And our server, Jaime (Sp?) was great. We cannot wait to return. And what a beautiful setting!

I visited Ruins with friends for dinner last week. This is my second time at Ruins and my first in this new location. The food was wonderful - we all really enjoyed all dishes ordered. The person who greeted us and another who brought out our food were very friendly. Unfortunately, the primary service was terrible, just as it was the last time I visited. It was very slow, despite the restaurant being mostly empty. Our server never checked on us after we had our food. We asked...
