We always make reservations for dinner at the Rusty Moose before attending concerts at Northern Quest. The service is always very good and the food excellent (love that fried mozzarella)! The dining atmosphere is cozy, with a flair for upscale log cabin feel; great for date night as well as family friendly. We will continue to go here in the future. After all, why stop a good thing?

Our ribeye steaks were tough, baby back ribs were dry and even though our reservations were early they were out of prime rib which 3 of the four of us wanted.

Had to wait 30 min to be seated. The place was literally empty. Only 3 other families were already sitting & eating. Idk if it was a staffing issue? Our server was excellent. He told us that he was new....couldn't tell. We were thrilled with his service. The food was not that good. We had fish & chips. The chips were delicious. The fish tasted like the oil hadn't been changed in dryer for some time. It was also way over cooked & almost a burnt color when served to us. The espresso martini was really good. I'm not honestly sure if we will go back.

I've been here twice. So the place looks nice, the first time I got a bison burger it was dry and didn't taste like bison. the 2nd time our waitress was not around much so had to wait for refills, as for the food my sister got Bison meatloaf it was a glob of grease, I got a elk burger it was dry and greasy, we also got garlic bread no butter or garlic on it it was saturated in some oil and decorated with parsley. Never coming again.
