We always make reservations for dinner at the Rusty Moose before attending concerts at Northern Quest. The service is always very good and the food excellent (love that fried mozzarella)! The dining atmosphere is cozy, with a flair for upscale log cabin feel; great for date night as well as family friendly. We will continue to go here in the future. After all, why stop a good thing?
As recommended by my nephew, the Rusty Moose was impressive. The decor reminded me several lodges and pubs in Alaska. The food was excellent (I'd certainly get the elk burger again), service was great and the beer selection was bad at all.
My wife and I stopped here for lunch and had an amazing time! We shared the gorgonzola fries, and ordered the wagyu burger and the stroganoff. The burger and onion rings had amazing flavors and spices and was cooked perfectly. The bun was so fresh and fluffy, and the brand on top was a nice touch. My wife said the stroganoff reminded her of the way her mother used to make it. High praise!
