I had fried chicken at another safeway store, and the chicken was delicious. The chicken at this particular safeway was gross. The chicken was dark. The only reason for dark chicken is because the grease is old or they fried the chicken twice, making the chicken dark. Either way, it is extremely unhealthy to eat fried chicken cooked twice in grease or have it cooked in old grease.

Recently shopped there when a cashier “Aaliyah Salazar” (if she gave me her real name) was completely rude to me and rang up my flour when it was opened she made me go back to get another one with a huge line behind me. Very rude attitude and will be calling for a manager

Standard Safeway, everything located in the same places throughout the store which is a HUGE plus. Prices are average but sales are often very good. I highly recommend using their mobile app to take advantage of their sales and especially their digital coupons. Produce prices are kinda high, but sales bring the prices down to normal.
