I love Vito in the meat department!!! I called on Sunday with a crisis and needed 18 pounds of chicken diced as an emergency within the hour and he went above and beyond to help me. Thank you so much for understanding and being so quick to help me and assure me that my order would be ready in the time you said it would. I am forever grateful. My event would have been a disaster and you saved me! Thank you! Thank you! Thank you!! I am a forever customer now.

The bakery at this Safeway is excellent. Very nice folks and always do a nice job. The BDay cake we received today was 1/2 sheet, white cake with fresh strawberry filling. Topping is the fresh whipped cream and is a family favorite. It's an excellent choice if regular topping is too sweet for you. I simply told them what colors to work in with a basic theme, baseball.
