I ordered a bday cake online. The Safeway website for gathering the cake details was difficult to navigate and complete. We needed a bday cake with half white and half chocolate. I made several attempts before I was able to finalize the order. However I somehow had inadvertently placed the order as needing 2 cakes instead of the one half/half I thought I'd ordered. I spoke to someone in the bakery a couple days before I was due to come pick it up who helped me figure it out. However when I picked it up they were so friendly and understanding and gave me both cakes and only charged me for the one. The cakes were very well decorated and both tasted great! Thank you for helping make the birthday party a memorable one. You guys Rock!

Noticed all the employees in masks at the 14020 E Sprague, Spokane Valley, WA store? When I inquired it did not seem voluntary for employees, why are you forcing them to mask? Was this a corporate decision or isolated management at Spokane Valley store? It is very disturbing to see employees with dead eyes and the absence of smiling faces at this location. I will be shopping elsewhere until I can see faces again.
