We have stopped in here a few times and have left happy everytime. My kiddos love it. Yes, it is definitely pricier than McDonalds but with good reason. It’s a real burger with good fresh meat. The flavors are amazing and I love the little bit of crunch on the edge of the burger patty. Laces out all day! And on top of that, they serve breakfast. I am hands-down, a breakfast person and I’m in love with their French toast sticks, and orange juice. How can you say no to French toast crusted in Cinnamon Toast Crunch crumbles?! The place is like a fun throw back to old diners with a modern twist. My favorite spot is tucked up to the bar on the vintage cheery barstools.Vegetarian options: They have a mushroom burger that totally taste like chicken. I didn’t even know it wasn’t near until my friends told me. It was delicious and I’ve actually ordered it for myself since then.Kid-friendliness: It is a fun fast paced diner joint. Perfect place for a family meal.

At this point I've attempted to go to this establishment twice and have been told they are closed, even though it's around 19:20 and they advertise that they close daily at 20:00. This time when I went in and they told me they were closed, I mentioned that online it states their closing time is 20:00. The staff stated that this was simply during "restaurant week" and that, "...when we are slow and it's close enough to closing they can decide to close." At that point update your hours, be courteous to your customers and maybe have the ingenious idea to post a sign stating you closed early, and perhaps turn on the lightbulb in your tardigrade sized brain when operating a business and TURN OFF THE LIGHTS! And truthfully aside from the poor management and ownership, the food is mediocre. Susan Shelby should stick to her overpriced bistro experience and give up on whatever side hobby this restaurant is to her. Additional cons: small portion sizes. Inside is small and not a lot of individual seating areas. Mostly just large raised bars so you're pressured to squeeze next to random strangers and then struggle to get past them when you're leaving. The prices are ridiculous for the quality of food... (though they do have decent fried pickles). Their milkshakes are child size and the price is deeply inflated.

I’ve been to Shelby’s on a few different occasions, I’ve even ordered through Uber Eats. All the times I’ve eaten there it has exceeded my expectations. The burgers, fries, and shakes are delicious. These aren’t your cheap or even frozen burger patties. The taste is amazing! Not sure what grind they use but it works wonderfully. The customer service in the restaurant is great as well, I’ve been there for breakfast lunch and dinner and have always been helped quickly with a friendly smile. When I ordered through Uber Eats I did not know what to expect with the food being delivered. It arrived still very warm and just as good as being in the restaurant.
