Had a niece come into town (flight attendant) and she stayed at the Doubletree so I treated her to dinner at Spencers. Spencers is very expensive the the food, service and ambiance is always great. The waitstaff are also attentive to taking care of drinks and inquiring about the meal without being intrusive.

Friendly, professional and attentive staff as well as a fantastic menu. Both entrees were delicious!

I booked on Monday and Wednesday of my trip. Both times had a great waiter who was extremely attentive. He focused on the needs of everyone at the table. The food was amazing. Super large portions. I felt very full after each meal. The baked potatoes had a unique presentation table side. The size of each baked potatoes was huge. I enjoyed the halibut one night and a spinach salad with chicken the next time. Both nights someone at the table ordered the pork chops. They also were Huge. Lovely location.

There was a group of us and we had many different appetizers, side dishes, and entrees. The food was amazing and the server took great care of us. I had the Zabuton Steak and it was without a doubt the best steak I have ever eaten. I am looking forward to going back sometime soon!

Service was absolutely wonderful. The Halibut melted in your mouth. Overall a great experience, will definitely be back.

Server was ok. Food took over hour and half to get our food. Way too long. Food was excellent tasting. But had to eat so fast as we were going to an event. Luckily next door Need more kitchen staff. Restaurant was only 60% occupied. So that was not the issue. Full house Almost left

Our server was excellent. Friendly, polite and very timely. The meal was superb from the drinks to the appetizers to the main courses. Everything was seasoned to perfection, cooked exactly as we requested and served hot. Couldn't have asked for more

We have been coming to Spencer's for years. The food was quality so we didn't mind paying for it. Over the past few years, the quality has steadily gone downhill. When we ate here the last time, the food was quite disappointing. There was no quality for the value. The items were cooked properly and they were heavily salted. My husband wanted to give it one more chance. Our dinner here on the 28th sealed the deal we will not return.

Our server was amazing! She recommended several options that weren't on the menu (half portions) and we put together a delicious meal - pork belly and grits was outstanding and the half size Caesar salad was perfect. Cocktail was great and the wine selection was broad but not overwhelming. Shout out to the carrot cake - one of the best I've ever had and they split it and plated for us to take back to our room Great experience - highly recommend!

We asked our server to order an appetizer and a salad along with a glass of wine and we would order are main course after. She said go ahead and order now and I will make it come out after your appetizer and salad. Not so,she brought out salads and then before we had started our starters out came our meal. Exactly what we didn't want as it was a dinner out before a broadway show and there was no rush. Then later as I was eating my prime bites with mushroom sauce she came by and wondered if I was done or was I licking the bowl clean loudly to other patrons next to us. Very rude, but she thought amusing. I have frequented this restaurant for 20plus years and enjoy the atmosphere and food, but this was the worst service we have ever had. Hope to hear something from the management on this. Ken Mullinax

Great staff and lovely atmosphere! Steaks, however, are a different story. We requested our steaks be cooked medium...which they were. Perfectly red in center, yet all other areas of the steak were painfully dry and void of flavor. No complaints about cocktails, wine, side dishes, or desserts. Like all other businesses these days, prices have increased significantly. However, when paying $80+ for the steak, it's not unreasonable to expect it to be perfect. Thank you.

Excellent food and outstanding service. Could not have asked for a better experience celebrating our 20th anniversary.

Food was not cooked good. The meat was tough. both my wife and mine were not done to the expectations of spencers. I ordered french fries, and they looked like they were on the bottom of the barrel. I could have gotten better fries at mcdonald's. We came in before happy hour, but they said they were all out of happyhour food. ? We will not be patronizing spencers anymore.

With high-end prices, you expect high-end service, and it’s just not there. Food was good though.

Don't necessarily use this as a casting of aspersions across the whole restaurant, since I was there for a conference-type meeting, but I was thoroughly unimpressed. I had the steak and potatoes with broccolini. The steak was tough and grisly, even though I could tell it was done in a sous vide - I didn't know that was possible. It was almost nearly blue, even though I ordered it medium. Becqause it was a meeting, I didn't send it back, but took it home and cooked it further, then gave it to my roommate. She couldn't eat it either. While I never write off a restaurant from one bad experience, it will be an effort to want to go back here.
