Amazing tamales, the best we’ve ever had. I had the jalapeño cheese and the beef one. My wife ordered the pork and loved it.Since tamales naturally are made gluten free it’s a great spot for those who are gluten sensitive.

Without exaggeration, this was the best tamale I’ve had in my entire life. We happened upon the shop and were just hungry for a quick bite- we had the jalapeño and cheese tamale and a side of chips and guacamole. So reasonably priced, such kind service, and a truly remarkable meal. We’ll absolutely be coming back here any time we’re in Spokane and can’t recommend it enough.

In 2024 we were visiting Spokane and feel lucky to have found this place. These folks are so nice and their tamales and salsa are amazing. These are not your normal everyday bland tamales. Their tamales are packed with meat and just amazing and delicious. My wife and I bought a dozen tamales (6 chicken and 6 pork), which ended up being four meals for us while we were here in Spokane. We highly recommend Tamale Box and plan to come back and eat more of their tamales on our next visit.Dietary restrictions: Great for GF dining.

This place is Spokane's newest gem. The tamales are out of this world. So great to see this food truck hit brick and mortar. The food is exceptional and won't break the bank. The new restaurant vibe is clean, modern, and intimate. Run there...don't walk.

This was my first time for Tamale Box. I bought a chicken, cheese & Jalapeño, and black bean. Hey, first time in… a sampler is a must. I added a black beans side and ate the whole tray. I can’t remember the last time I had authentic tamales hand rolled and cooked in corn husks. But, I’ll be back. :-) There was a gracious service and even though they had run out of rice, I didn’t feel slighted. And the black bean side dish was tasty and more than adequate.
