The team was so professional, easy to work with, and made the entire process seamless. A special thank you to Teresa for being so helpful and accommodating throughout the planning process. She truly went above and beyond to make sure everything was exactly how we wanted. We’ve received so many compliments from our team about how great everything was. Highly recommend Tamarack for any event—you won’t be disappointed!

Tamarack hosted my retirement party last week. It was my favorite place pre-COVID so the decision was easy when choosing a venue for the ‘big’ bash. Everything was great!

We hosted a memorial service at Tamarack Event House and it couldn't have been a better place for a celebration of life. Teresa went above and beyond for us, I couldn't be more grateful. We had a very large turnout and the staff was amazing to cater all the needs of our guest. Food and drinks were amazing as well. Would definitely recommend this beautiful space to anyone looking to host an event. Thanks again Tamarack!

We hosted a memorial service with 48 guests at Tamarack Event House mid-January and every aspect of it was beautiful, primarily due to the sincerity and professionalism of Teresa and everyone else at Tamarack. Hosting a memorial service is never an easy thing to do with all the emotions involved but Teresa, her sister Tina, and the staff helped immensely.Teresa answered emails promptly leading up to the event, gave suggestions on food options, and tested our slideshow well before the service to ensure all was working properly. On the day every aspect was perfect allowing us the family to focus on the service itself.Being from out of town and not knowing much about Spokane, we are thankful we found Tamarack Event House. Our memorial service was perfect and I can only assume the professionalism would be carried through to all events. We highly recommend Tamarack Event House for your event.

Since becoming an event house, I’ve constantly craved their delicious tacos and amazing ambiance, so there was no question when we were deciding where to have our wedding reception. It was the perfect venue for us to celebrate with our friends, and I would recommend it to anyone looking for a great place to gather with your loved ones and eat amazing food!!! 10/10 food, service, and owners! We love the Tamarack!!!

We held our wedding at Tamarack earlier in June 2023. We called 2 months prior, not expecting much, but they had had a last minute cancellation and we were able to book the date. We were on an accelerated timeline but Teresa was so amazing, helpful, and communicative. The venue provided everything we needed for the reception and was extremely upfront about costs. She was willing to work with what we wanted, what we could afford, and worked backwards from there. Nothing was a surprise.Food and drinks: They offered a fully stocked bar with amazing cocktails. The food was amazing, I only wished I could've ate more! Teresa even packaged up my food for me to take home (although I totally forgot to grab it). She did this for many of my guests and family and everyone enjoyed their leftovers. She was extremely mindful of any food allergies or diet restrictions (we had 2 vegetarians). We chose the Basmati Rice Buffet; however, because one of our guests had a nut allergy she switched the coconut rice for potatoes with parmesan and fresh herbs (delicious!), and we had chicken and added steak bites. The event house provided the utensils, plates, and napkins. It didn't feel like they were nickel and diming us, which can often happen when planning a wedding. We did need to provide our own dessert plates and forks, although the venue could have provided some at additional cost.Teresa also had recommendations for other vendors that she works closely with, which helped us find our DJ in such a short timeline.Decoration wise: They provided a chalkboard sign to let our guests know where to enter/whose wedding it was. There were some basic decorations they provided (bowls and fake tealight candles), but the beautiful exposed brick walls and wood tables didn't need much more decoration to make it beautiful. The handiwork Teresa and her husband did to bring out the beauty of the venue was amazing. We only added some bud vases, flowers, and fairy lights.The dance floor may be a bit small for some but for our group we aren't much dancers so it was nice having it smaller to feel not so empty. The bar was close by and people could easily get more drinks (we did a ticket system - 3 tickets/person). The beautiful summer weather allowed us to open the garage door, but people could easily go outside to the courtyard if needed to get some air.This was a wonderful venue, and I am so grateful for all the work Teresa, her husband, son, and staff did to create a special night for us.Photos by: Josselyn Peterson Photographer

What a perfect place to have a celebration. I can not recommend this venue enough. It is so quaint and has so much character. They catered our party and the food was so yummy. They have a bar for mixed drinks, beers, wines. This is a perfect place for a special occasion for a smaller group. Also we got use of the patio which was shaded and added space for our guests to hang out. The servers were simply perfect, they were present but not taking your attention from the party. I wish I had another event coming up so we could go back.

If you are looking for a space to hold your next event (birthday, engagement party, etc.) I highly suggest Tamarack Event House! The staff is friendly and on top of everything. The food was amazing and the drinks were delicious. Communication is quick and efficient. All of the guests were very impressed with the event space. I will be booking other events here in the future!

Bud and Teresa the owners were great through the whole planning process and put on a great event for us. Would highly recommend!
