really bad food, got super sick! filthy place, not authentic!! stay away
I moved to Spokane a year ago and have tried all the this places now. (I love Thai Food) This was the last place for me to try because they are take out only. Based on the google reviews I was excited to try it so I ordered my standard Pod Kee Mow (Drunken Noodles). These are supposed to be made with wide rice noodles and vegetables. What I got had almost no vegetables and something different for noodles. Disappointed - Won't wast my time here again. Sry
The authenticity of the food could some improvement. The pad see eew might be better served with khanna (Thai kale) instead of broccoli, and with a bit thicker sauce.
Ordered delivery, was missing food, disappointed that the curry doesn't come with rice, wrong meat was in the curries. The curries still tasted really good but I would have liked the food I had ordered.
The positive reviews really had me fooled. My food lacked any decent flavor. The chicken tasted like rot. The curry was nothing more special than colored water- just awful. Pad Thai was majorly depressing and disgusting. The rice was mushy. This was a take-out order and after a couple of bites we tossed the food in the trash.
Thai On First is by far the most authentic and delicious Thai restaurant in Spokane, possibly the northwest. Highly recommend their Tom Kah Gai, no other restaurant even compares to their recipe. But really I haven't had a bad thing on their menu. I've been coming here for the last twenty years, and the day they close their doors will be a very sad day indeed.
Good place except for the apartments behind has some Terrible people living in it I was outside sitting down eating one day and this dude that pulled a gun on me and hit me with his cane the day prior came up and kicked my face than went around telling people I pulled a knife on him for no reason
Being a Seattle native, I would argue that I know what Phad Thai should be. Phad Thai from here was very flavorful. It’s a pretty good balance of sweet and savory. They use thin rice noodles which are not typical but work well once you get past what your expecting for noodle width. Beware, I ordered a zero in spice as a baseline because of what others have said. A zero here is close to a typical 3 star. I would also say that while it wasn’t dry, it wasn’t saucy either. I’d go back.
Best Thai food in town, nobody does it like Val!
I ordered a pick-up order of tofu PadThai by phone. When I got to the restaurant they didn't have knowledge of who I was, but it was cooked quickly on the spot. A somewhat disappointing dish was presented. A large mass of thrown-together noodles. soggy tofu, and little else to say positive about this dish. I'm on a road trip and have ordered PadThai throughout Montana, Idaho, and now Washington State. This was the least tasty one. Other Thai restaurants in the region are cooking and presenting PadThai better.

Order Chicken Pad Thai and the Spring Rolls. Food was made quick and it was a good price to what you got.The food wasn't so great. Pad Thai seemed like it was spaghetti noodles, it was super dry, and way over spiced for a 2 out of 5⭐.I had hoped to find fresh rolls but they only had Spring Rolls. These were just moosh on the inside. The were nice and crispy though. There also wasn't enough sauce for the number of rolls you got.
Really enjoyed the noodles here but I felt like the curry was a bit watery and left something to be desired. I would definitely come back if I was in the area.
We went to Thai on First at the recommendation of a local. We walked in and sat down, and the waiter said it’ll be thirty minutes before we would have our food. Turned out to be twenty, but it was still pretty slow considering the dining room wasn’t even full. As for the food, the chicken pad Thai was very good, and they absolutely got the spice level correct. Far too many times, Thai places underspice their dishes for fear of turning of American diners. Thankfully that wasn’t the case here, and the spice was perfectly tasty and just that right level of painful. I’d probably go elsewhere next time in town, but it was fairly good.
the fairgrounds RV show its postponed but RNR RV north spokane its got you covered
I would dare say this is the best Pad Thai in Spokane. We had a pretty big order for the office and the owners had it ready for us right when they opened, and helped me carry it all out to my car. It was all perfectly packaged and tasted amazing!! They also accommodated our gluten free and vegan eaters as well without hesitation!
