We had the best date night at The Bad Seed last weekend. I honestly am not a huge Tex Mex fan but the flavors in the food were seriously amazing. The drinks were great and our waiter (Dave) was fantastic. He was so helpful and made the evening perfect. I’d absolutely recommend everything about this place!

Good food, good price, good vibes. Just wish they’d bring back the Mac and cheese side.

Went for our 20th anniversary dinner on a recommendation for a friend and it was awesome. Amazing atmosphere, excellent service, and hands down some of the best food I’ve ever eaten.

Firstly we had the queso and chips which were magical, nextly the birria tacos with smashed gratin potatoes and a delightful salad with chipotle vinaigrette and a burrito with a verde sauce that MUST STAY ON THE MENU, and lastly we had Dulce de leche cheesecake which resulted in a spoon sword fight for the last bite.

This place is worth another 200 mile drive and we will be back whenever we can!

I would gladly give my life to worship this queso for the rest of eternity.
But also, the tacos were mighty delightful.

Went to bad seed for a little bite. Cool spot, great food, friendly staff. Today happened to be a little Smokey inside, maybe they just made a batch of smoked brisket? Was a little hard on my lungs but besides that, the place seems like a really cool, chill spot. Definitely recommend the tacos.

Cool interesting location. Staff was on-it and friendly. The food was different and very good. The prices were lower than pub stuff that is offered all over town. I’ll be back for sure.

Rick and I (the hot husband) found ourselves at the Bad Seed in Hillyard for dinner and may I just say yes and yes! This old library has been turned into a comfortable place with old world ambiance. If the female form offends you stay away. But I love old paintings and the female form, so it was fabulous. Staff: very feiendly Drinks: creative names like mama’s ruin and afternoon death. Beer by bottle, cocktails very good. Food; Tex Mex meets something that becomes an explosion of deliciousness on the tastebuds. I had a smoked brisket taco that was just shy of spiritual. Have you ever heard the term foodgasm? They even have a ghost named Veronica, and occasionally the lamps dance to the beat of the music. I will be going back, a lot. Maybe I’ll see you there. It’s definitely with a visit

Food was good a different type of fajitas the taco was good it had a dip to dip it in which was spicy. The margarita was a nice sour one. The service was slow this day and not real attentive

The service time was awful and the food was barely any better. My entire table thought the meats tasted old and the sides were overly salted or straight from a can. I’m disappointed because I’ve been waiting a long time to try this place, but Atilanos or a food truck would have been better quality at a lower price

Such a cool place! The food we had was amazing! Really flavorful. The drinks were stiff! It was comfy and the seating is fun too. We will definitely be back! (The only reason I gave 4 stars on service is because I didn't actually speak to any staff, my husband did it all, and had to go downstairs to order and nobody came up to collect glasses or anything.)

The remodeled public library is gorgeous and has a very charming vibe. The food and service were good. I had the texas caviar and the taco platter with a tex-mex tofu taco and a garbonzo taco. All were good.
