We had their thursday night prime rib dinner. The salad was tangy & delightful! The prime rib was amazing. Smoky cooked to perfection. The smashed Au gratin potatoes where buttery, cheesy, & awesome. This was our first visit here, and it will not be our last. Highly recommended!???

The Bad Seed has crazy good food, and prices are incredibly reasonable. The best tacos I have had in a very long time! It is located in Hillyard and in a historical Spokane public library building from 1922. This one is definitely a sleeper that everyone should try!!

Late night drop by because it all looked right. Inside was neo goth smash burger of Mexi/WA. from what I gathered. Which included a kick down shoebox of rice n beans. Deserves a repeat visit. Tips up ya'll.

Everything we ate was fantastic. The mac and cheese, shrimp, chicken, and pork carnitas were phenomenal. The server was fantastic and so easy to talk to. We weren't sure when we heard about this place if it would be any good, but it's exceeded our expectations for sure! Delicious, welcoming, and such a great vibe!

Late birthday gift for me.. definitely been on my radar for a year now. This is about to be my favorite home. GREAT food, good service fair prices. You honestly can't beat this. Such a great atmosphere and spectacular mid range priced good (but they could literally charge 4-10 a meal more...EASILY. THIS is a place that watch! )Try it right now... reservations recommended. This place deserves all the local praise it's been getting. I sense greatness here. For now I'm visiting every dang week. Very soon this will be outside my price range and I won't complain. Sooo good!Parking: Very Limited parking. No lot I could see. Basically just street parking. But that's free so it was ok.

I have wanted to try this place for a while, highly recommended by a friend, and I am so glad I finally made it in! This place is one of my absolute favorites. The food is good. But the service and the atmosphere completely knock it out of the park here. I love the lighting and cozy vibe. The bartender took care of us, and she was amazing. Consistently checked on us and was beyond kind. When I asked about the building, she brought over a history guide of all the details, which I was fascinated by.The room is full of beautiful old things. Paintings, books, wood, and antiques everywhere you look. I loved the lit candles at the table and the old-time movie playing on the tv along with the music.I fully plan on trying everything on the menu now simply because of the service and atmosphere. The prices are very reasonable. Don't let the minimal street parking keep you away. Go here! You will love it if you are into a relaxed atmosphere.Side note: the table next to us paid for our dinner. I was so surprised and will look for an opportunity to pay it forward. I love it when Spokane shows its true colors all the way around. The Hillyard restaurants are stepping up their game. I can't wait to visit again.Parking: There is not a parking lot here as it used to be a neighborhood library converted to a restaurant. But there is plenty of street parking. Even if you walk half a block......totally worth it.Kid-friendliness: Kid approved! She loved the cheese quesadilla and the Mac and cheese. We had the cheese cake for dessert. So delicious.
