We happened to find The Flying Goat when traveling to Idaho from Western Washington. The staff was extremely pleasant and friendly. THE FOOD was incredible. We will be going there again on our over the pass travels if for nothing else, to try each of their pizzas!

A Hidden Gem in Panguitch! Being from Las Vegas, we consider ourselves pretty discerning when it comes to food—after all, we’re used to world-class dining. So when we say a little hometown café like the Flying Goat is a must every time we’re in Panguitch, that truly means something. From the moment you walk through the door, you’re met with such a warm, genuine welcome—it feels more like visiting a favorite relative’s home than stepping into a restaurant. The hospitality is as comforting as the food is satisfying. Portions are generous, ingredients always fresh, and the quality never disappoints. Today I had their strawberry salad with a side of chicken fingers made with a jalapeño mango sauce, and let me just say—wow. It was so beautifully presented and so delicious that I didn’t even pause for a photo. I dove right in, and honestly, it might be one of the best salads I’ve ever had. The Flying Goat is everything a small-town café should be—charming, consistent, and full of heart. We’re already counting down the days to our next visit.

Really disappointed in our to-go order. Ordered a $15 salad that had maybe 1/4 cup total toppings and our pizza was burnt. We have a wood-fired pizza oven at home so we are familiar with char, this was burnt and bitter. They have raised their prices AND cut back on ingredients, not worth the money.

Good pizza and good beer choices. Pizza is thin and was a little floppy, but that’s true of most “artisan” pizzas you will find. Actually enjoyed the cheese bread more than the pizza. The Caesar had a good lemon zip and was very tasty. It was a hot day and they said they could only seat us outside even though they had plenty of indoor seating, but maybe they had a big reservation coming? I dunno. It was a Saturday night a round 6pm so I get it.

I have been here a handful of times and I have never been disappointed. Every pizza has impeccable flavors and there are plenty of options!

Pretty average pizza. I feel like it sounded and looked better than the flavor was. Apple BBQ sauce sounded good but the BBQ pizza was pretty bland, no real pronounced flavors. It also was very floppy. The pretzel was more like baked bread and the mustard sauce was thin. Not horrible pizza but not great for how high the reviews.

Maybe I'm being a pizza snob, but I wasn't particularly impressed. The pizza was very average and then they throw a bunch of some topping in a big stack on the middle of the pizza...felt kind of gimmicky. The fact that this is the highest rated pizza place in all of Spokane and top-5 for any style of restaurant seems crazy.

Wonderful small restaurant, partly built with repurposed grain elevator wood and decorated with the help of local artists. It’s a first come, first served – no reservations necessary type of place. We went there on a Monday night thinking it would be less busy but it was full, a good indication that this place is popular. The line at the front door moved rapidly, however. Many people waiting in line are just here to pick up pre-ordered meals so don't let the length of the line discourage you from eating here. Hard to find a quiet spot – inside is noisy and outside patio is near a busy street. Nothing too loud, however. We went there on a 95°F evening, too hot to eat a hot meal. I ordered their spinach, beet, quinoa and feta cheese salad which was well balanced. Portions are on the smaller side yet sufficient. They offer Neapolitan style pizzas (many named after nearby streets), salads, stews, sandwiches, and desserts. They do not have a full bar, only beer and wine – no margaritas for example. I asked about the origin of the restaurant’s name but our wait person didn’t know the answer. On-line it says that they tried to resemble an English, Irish or Scottish Pub’s name, nothing fancier than that – I think they succeeded with that name. Service was great. Casual eatery style food – very decent and fairly priced. As closing time was approaching, we never felt pushed to hurry up and leave. We felt welcomed and well taken care of. Our wait person came by regularly to check on us. Not too often and not in a pushy manner. Just right… I will be back to try one of their pizzas next time. Recommended.

Best pizza we have ever had. And we’ve had a lot of pizza in a lot of different towns and cities! Great beer on tap Highly recommend going here.

“We don’t take vertical ID’s”…what a joke- you run a pizza joint in a college town..and that’s what some states issue…get a clue!

My go to when I'm craving a certain pizza, "The Kiernan" One of my favorite places to hit up in my neighborhood. Low key, friendly atmosphere, delicious artisan crafted pizza. Most menu items are named after the local neighborhood streets. Friendly service, great rotating craft beers! 🍕🍺

Friendly service and greeting, great beer selection, and really nice pizzas, it’s tough to choose which one! Everything went well until we ordered desert, then it got better…we ordered cannolis, and the front end guy came over and said they were out. I said we got #%€* out out of the cannolis! I asked his name, he told me “Ian” “ Just say Ian did it. As we were leaving, I said “your name isn’t really Ian, is it? “No, he’s the owner”. We laughed halfway home. That made our night. This is a great local spot, don’t miss it.
