We had a somewhat conflicting experience here. This place is beautiful for sure, a very cozy dining room with lovely decor. The drinks were tasty! We got the tater tot casserole appetizer to share and really enjoyed it. The main courses were unfortunately just not great. I ordered the chicken schnitzel and it came out overcooked, the breading burnt actually. I really hate to send food back, but this was inedible and im not sure how it got sent out of the kitchen to begin with. We sent back and ordered a burger instead. The waitress seemed cold and not so apologetic. My husband ordered the gnocchi and it was rather mushy but he didn't want to send his back as well, so he ate it. By the time my replacement meal came out, my husband had already completely finished his meal. The burger was nothing special and eating alone while my husband was finished just killed the experience for us. It was our 1st time there and im not sure we'd go back. Wasn't worth the over $100

Decent food but seriously, the staff is ridiculous. Disgruntled soap opera. Not my problem 😕

We SO wanted to love this place, we really did. We had heard so many great things about it. Unfortunately, our Valentine's Day experience wasn't as wonderful as we'd hoped. First, the good...The cocktails and ceasar salad were excellent, and the service was good, not great, but good. The building is super cool with lots of interesting architectural interest. The prices are also reasonable. Now, the not so good...We made Valentine's Day reservations several months ago, yet found ourselves at a fairly crowded, uncomfortable table right by the kitchen. Secondly, the entrées were disappointing. I had the shrimp scampi which had way too much red pepper, and was actually too spicy for me to eat. Not what you'd expect with shrimp scampi. My husband had the gnocchi, which was just mediocre. We both love gnocchi, just not this one. We can't totally put our finger on it, the flavor of the sauce just wasn't great. Sorry Gilded Unicorn, we won't hurry back.

This place has always had amazing food, drinks, and service. Never a question in our mind if we will have a good meal or great service. The only downside there seemed to be was how hot it got in the restaurant itself. It was like there wasn't enough airflow. My husband and I loved the food so much we would bring little fans in with us so we didn't get too hot. THEY FIX THAT! They just did a remodel of some sort and now there is airflow!! I wasn't overly warm or anything. It was the perfect temp in the restaurant to be comfortable. Now there is absolutely nothing wrong with this place. I highly recommend!!!

Cool location but the service and food was mediocre given the price. I don't mind paying $15 a drink on occasion but I do mind being accosted by fruit flies constantly while I eat. The Shrimp Scampi, was sour and the staff was cold. This feels like a place that used to be good.

Loved the cozy pub like feel and all the rock and brick. AMAZING food. The sweet and savory flatbread was my favorite, also the tater tot casserole and seasonal salad. Wished I lived closer to go more often. Highly recommend

Great food limited menu which isn't much of a bad thing. It seems pretty busy during the weekend which is to be expected. But don't expect a personal experience whith your wait staff. All in all the Gilded unicorn is a fast pace straight to the point restaurant that is great to bring friends and family too.

The young blonde girl serving and bartending was incredibly rude to us. I’ve been here before and had a wonderful experience but unfortunately I won’t be returning because of her dismissive attitude. She only checked on us one time and it was when the gentleman sitting at the bar that she was flirting with was on his phone.

Scrummy food! They were a little understaffed but working hard. Lots of good cocktail and mocktail options.
