Woah! Everything was exceptional from the moment we walked in. We started with the deviled eggs & tater tot casserole and OH! MY! GOSH! Deviled eggs, best thing I think I’ve ever put in my mouth. And the tater tot casserole was next level. For entrees we ordered the burger & the gnocchi and both were incredible. Perfectly cooked. Highly highly recommend!!!

Food was great. The shrimp scampi had a great amount of sauce. The bocce rolls were a perfect starter. The baked Mac was a good mixture of protein with the chicken and bacon, with creamy Mac. Only downside to this place is you are sitting too close to people. We were only about maybe two feet from the other tables.

It had been a while since I’d been here. Used to eat here 1x monthly for about 6 months. I found they changed the menu and got rid of my favorite item which were the bacon wrapped dates. Both my date and I were bummed. I figured-okay- they still have the bocce rolls which are very yummy, but then the server suggested fondue for the rolls- I love fondue usually and so ordered it, but it was not very good.
My date had the breaded chicken dish with the kale salad - he said it was “okay”. I usually have the tator tot Hotdish but wanted to try something new so I had the gnocchi bc I love gnocchi in general, however it was nothing to rave about. In all I was happy with the plain bocce rolls and my drink, but we won’t be coming back. Bummer.

Our meal was incredible. We will absolutely be back for the tater tot casserole & the berry lemon cake! The tots were perfectly crispy, even when smothered in the delicious gravy that came on the side. Plus the pot roast in the casserole? YUM. The shrimp in the shrimp scampi were excellent as well. We really can't say enough good things, and can't wait to try more of the menu! Warm cozy interior was nice, too

Personally, the music choice was kinda grating, but not bad enough that I asked anyone to change it. Service was quick. The baked mac came with chicken in it, which was a pleasant surprise! It was amazing, as was the gnocchi. $35 per person after drinks. Make sure you can find it downstairs!

The food did not disappoint!! From the ambiance to the service and from the food to my company, it was a hit! The Gilded Unicorn has a simple but eloquent menu that allows for anyone to enjoy a new top tier favorite that they will definitely tell their friends about. I think the worst part was the fact that it was incredibly hard to decide which entree we wanted since it all sounded so amazing. Bradley was our server (you were great) and he knew the menu well and had no issue making suggestions when we asked. The colorfully eccentric framed artwork as well as the nearly medieval feeling brick walls and solid wood tables almost felt like a castle mixed with a hint of speakeasy! Come here and you won’t regret anything other than not having an insatiable appetite! 10/10 experience overall but 11/10 food!
As a chef myself, i appreciate the different flavor profiles presented. Attention to details. Homemade sauses.. found this place on a trip from Phx and will not forget a wonderful experience
