Tasty sandwich, but where do we draw the line of value? Apparently mine starts at paying almost 9 dollars for 4 inches of bread. Place isn't fancy inside either, so the prices aren't commensurate with what you're getting.

Delicious, quick, overpriced food. You have to pay for parking because it's downtown. It cost over $25 for the Prime Nooner, with side, add cup soup. They provided free ice water. They split the meal and gave us both a little cookie and crackers. Heavy on the horse radish sauce. Great experience, but not worth more than one time. One and done.

I'm on a trip to Spokane, WA. I try to eat local when I go somewhere new. I driving back to my hotel when I asked Google if there were any delis in the area. A few names came up but I had to try The High Nooner.
I had their almost Ruben with is with Cole slaw instead of sauerkraut. I got the potato salad that was amazing. its a mustard base must try.
I came back the next day and tries their hot grinder. no other words than just amazing.
They are only open from 1030am to 230pm so plan your trip to downtown accordingly.

Great sandwich, best in town! They were about to close, but they saw us walking that way and they stayed open for us. So nice!

Bomb ass rubin!
Or the grinder (hot) extra grinder sauce! 🤓
This is hands down my favorite sandwich shop! Their sandwiches are so delicious. I literally have a craving for them sometimes. The High Nooner & Unforgettable Nooner are my favorites. Their bowtie chicken pasta salad is a must. Excellent carrot cake & a delicious cookie included with your order. They have sprouts which I adore on a sandwich, a lot of sandwich places do not. I am always surprised that there aren't more places to get a decent sandwich in Spokane, seems odd. I have recommended this place to several friends & will keep coming back. Only downfall is they aren't open later. 10/10 Thank you High Nooner!
Very good sandwiches. Small place

Not only are their soups and sandwiches delicious, their customer service is superb!
I called yesterday asking for their Thai soup (its literally one of the best and I've been craving it). Unfortunately it wasn't on the menu that day. But the lady I spoke with said she would put it on the menu for today and she even faxed me a list of all the soups they would have available for today. She followed through, and I'm now sitting here in my office, fat and happy, eating my favorite soup that was delivered on time and still hot :)
There are a lot of sandwich places in town, but I'll stick with the one who goes above and beyond to make their customers happy. Thank you High Nooner and staff!
Ordered a cheese steak. And there is more vegetables than meat. If I ordered a veggie sandwich, it would be great. But I ordered a cheese steak, and got all jalapeños and veggies.
Hubs had a build your own pastrami. The sandwich was piled high with lean pastrami. He was really pleased. I had 1/2 BLT and a side pea salad. The pea salad was fantastic; fresh, flavorful, firm peas, chopped toasted pecans. The BLT was delicious, on soft sourdough. They even tossed in a small cookie apiece.
