Went for a friends birthday and had a blast. I remember going there when it was C8s and was not expecting the atmosphere change. Plenty of room for dancing and lounging and really good live music.

First time there for a friend"s birthday. I ordered bourbon and 7 talls. They were made with Jim Beam. Over the course of my time there I had 3. My tab was over $43. I questioned the bartender and she told me they were doubles. I didn't order doubles; I ordered TALLS. I have been the general manager of a restaurant/bar and have a valid WA state MAST permit. She was giving me 5 count pours. Most places give you a 6 count pour for a single shot. Doubles? My a*** DO NOT GO TO HOUSE OF SOUL unless you want to be ripped off for a basic cocktail. My tab should have been around $21, not $43+. I should file a complaint with LCB. I still might if I'm pissed off about this in the morning.

Slowest giant bar I've ever been to. I cannot believe a place this big has only one bar station. They are completely missing the boat on being able to monetize this bar. There is only one bar station and the bartenders appeared to be in training. After an hour wait in line for drinks with only 20 people in line (most of them patrons who continued to cut the line), we gave up and decided to leave. No manager to be found at this bar/club, which was a disorganized mess. This location and layout has so much potential but current management/ownership has no concept of how to make it profitable. Zero security upon walking in, doesn't make anyone feel safe. Overall this place was a giant disappointment.

My friend found this place by accident yesterday. Didn't know this type of establishment existed in Spokane. Older crowd, which I love. Live music, Jazz, Motown and a little R&B. Very enjoyable. Drinks were good. Will be going again.

This place is truly a gem and has it all! Max makes a point to come and say hello to everyone in the establishment, and the band is fantastic. Each time I come here my jaw always drops at how easily they take song suggestions and work the crowd... bless those musical geniuses!
